Aeonics
Aeonics is arguably the most powerful of the high magic rituals, since it allows the manipulation of time itself. It is sometimes referred to as Chronomancy. Gazing into the past or peeking into the future, even if its only by a few moments, can generate many powerful spells indeed, though it has a heavy power cost. By using these temporal spells on others, they could become the victim of timewarping, which will cause them to become further displaced out of time. The more timewarped someone, the slower they can recover equilibrium/balance recovery.

Collision (by Gelo)
MindClock

Syntax:
TIMECHANT MINDCLOCK
You can synchronize your thought processes with your body's inner clock. This will enable you to be partially immune from getting out of sync through aeon effects.
Aeon

Syntax:
TIMECHANT AEON
By focusing on another's inner clock, you can throw it out of sync and lock that person in a aeon field.
Insight

Syntax:
TIMECHANT INSIGHT
By turning inward, you can take control of the chaos of your mind and emotions, forcing them into order. Upon cold reflection, you can find insight into your own being, which will provide some protection against some ailments of the mind.
TimelessBody

Syntax:
TIMECHANT TIMELESSBODY
By tempering your body with the time field around you, you can provide some protection against some physical ailments.
Ageing

Syntax:
TIMECHANT AGEING
Power: 10 (Matrix)
You can add or subtract up to 20 years to any individual. However, you cannot reduce anyone's age below 12. You cannot ever reduce or increase someone's age 20 years in either direction beyond their natural age. Note that this is permanent.
Timewarp

Syntax:
TIMECHANT TIMEWARP
By warping time around another, they will suffer from a longer delay in quicksilver speed defense and take longer to recover equilibrium if lost. You can stack multiple timewarps around a victim, which will have a cumulative effect.
Alacrity

Syntax:
TIMECHANT ALACRITY
Power: 1 (Matrix)
Surround yourself with a specialized temporal field that will spread healing throughout your body. It will also grant a 10% boost to brute-sourced damage.
TemporalBonds

Syntax:
TIMECHANT TEMPORALBONDS
By setting up temporal bonds in a location, your enemies will have trouble leaving the location. Even if they manage to break through the temporal barriers, they will suffer warps in time.
TimeEchoes

Syntax:
TIMECHANT TIMEECHOES
Power: 3 (Matrix)
Surrounding someone with echoes from time will afflict them with temporal ailments as well as warping time around them.
PastGlimpse

Syntax:
TIMECHANT PASTGLIMPSE
You can send a message to yourself in the past to avoid being afflicted by one ailment.
FutureGlimpse

Syntax:
TIMECHANT FUTUREGLIMPSE
By glimpsing into the future (or perhaps your future self is glimpsing into his or her past which is your present), you can avoid certain afflictions. The future is fuzzy so there is only a 20% chance of avoiding any afflictions and each time you succeed in avoiding an affliction, there is a 50% chance that your glimpse into the future will fade.
Oracle

Syntax:
TIMECHANT ORACLE
Power: 3 (Matrix)
By acting as an oracle, you can show the darkest of possible futures open to an individual, possible futures that will haunt that person and drive him or her to madness and distraction.
SwitchFate

Syntax:
TIMECHANT SWITCHFATE
This defense will last only a short time but while it is in effect, there is a small chance that any damage done to you will instead by transferred to an enemy who is in your local area. Note that you cannot switch fate with the person who attacks you.
AeonField

Syntax:
TIMECHANT AEONFIELD
Power: 5 (Matrix)
By surrounding yourself with a powerful aeon field, your enemies will suffer from the aeon curse every time the field pulses as well as being time warped. Note that this will halve your ego and mana while in effect.
Contingency

Syntax:
TIMECHANT CONTINGENCY
Power: 4 (Matrix)
You can set up a contingency spell that is targetted against one individual. If that one person damages you when you are below half health, the contingency will automatically be triggered. You can set up a contingency to give yourself alacrity or to afflict the target with time echoes or the oracle curse.
Displacement

Syntax:
TIMECHANT DISPLACEMENT
Power: 10 (Matrix)
You can temporally displace an individual, taking them completely out of the timestream for a very brief time. The length of time depends on how time warped they are (if at all).
Foresight

Syntax:
TIMECHANT FORESIGHT
Using foresight, there is a chance that you can avoid incoming attacks by keeping an eye on future events. Unfortunately, this defense will not last long.
TimeQuake

Syntax:
TIMECHANT TIMEQUAKE
TIMECHANT TIMEQUAKE
Power: 10 (Matrix) (If untargetted)
8 (Matrix) (If targetted)
By setting forth a timequake, you will kill all enemies in your location who are massively time warped. Those who survive will be subject to time echoes.
Paradox

Syntax:
TIMECHANT PARADOX
Power: 10 (Matrix)
Travelling through time sets up various different paradoxes. By using the paradox factor to your advantage, you can be helped by your future selves who will visit you and help you defeat your enemies. Each future self will attack a random enemy in your location with one of the following: time echoes, oracle, aeon, timewarp or displacement.

Aeonics
The Numinous Cyclic Theory of David Myatt

British esotericist and now convert to Islam, David Myatt, formulated a cyclic theory called Aeonics. This merits individual attention as Aeonics provides another perspective on history from a specifically spiritual standpoint. Myatt's Aeonics, as the term makes obvious, is based on cycles as "aeons" or Ages, each with its own numinous or spiritual character and stemming from what Myatt terms the acausal, the supra-natural acting upon the causal or physical world.

Myatt himself ascribes the foundations of Aeonics to both Spengler and Toynbee, (Myatt, 1984, 1-3) the latter providing the paradigm of civilisations as arising from challenges. Myatt's own concern for much of his life has been the overcoming of the Western cycle of decline, that it might fulfil what he considered its destiny. While Toynbee states that Civilisations end in a last hurrah of world-empire, Myatt adds Spengler's Faustian challenge, stating that the destiny of the Western Civilisation is that of Galactic Empire. Spengler's definition of the Western cultural ethos as Faustian meant that the West's own unique culture-soul is based on an unquenchable reach for infinity and exploration, unfolding all the secrets of nature. This Faustian ethos is manifested as the cultural soul in all the elements of the West in its cycles of becoming. Hence the distance and perspective of the art of Rembrandt and the feelings of infinity conjured by the outreach of the Gothic spire. (Myatt, 1984, The West, 3).
Myatt goes beyond this seeing the space ship, space exploration and ultimately galactic settlement and Galactic empire as the logical ultimate expression of the Faustian soul. (Myatt, 1984, The Faustian Spirit, 6). Myatt succinctly states: "If we need a symbol to represent our Western civilisation - to express its quintessence - it is the spacecraft." (Myatt, ibid. 7.).The Western Civilisation would be superseded by a Galactic Civilisation just as the Roman Civilisation had superseded the Greek, and the Western the Roman.
This Western destiny Myatt explained in the opening paragraphs to Vindex referring to Toynbee in defining civilisations: "Acceding to Toynbee, a civilisation arises from either a physical or a social challenge - that is, civilisation is man's successful response to a particular geographical or social challenge." He gives as an e.g. the Egyptian civilisation as arising from the challenge of the Nile River Valley. Each civilisation declines and produces what Toynbee calls a "Universal State, usually an empire which lasts generally for a 400 year cycle. (Myatt, 1984, 1).
Myatt's 1984 book was directed to those working on a causal, political level. Esoterically, Aeons could be influenced by those working magickally, adepts who had reached a level of consciousness to utilise the theory of Aeonics to work consciously to intervene in the cycles of history by opening the causal to acausal energies, or what are called the "dark gods". Hitherto civilisations had arisen unconsciously, and man had been subject to the laws of cyclicity without being aware of the forces that were controlling him. Now through Aeonics and the conscious Aeonic magick directed by occult adepts, the cyclic laws could be consciously directed. Western Civilisation would go through its final cycle, but this would be the prelude to a new civilisation, the Galactic empire, extending the West's Faustian scientific impulse.
In order for this destiny to unfold, those conscious of this cultural destiny would have to actively work for it both esoterically and exoterically. Myatt was therefore involved in formulating a system of occultism via the Order of Nine Angles (ONA) , the primary magickal purpose being to open what Myatt called "nexions", the meaning of which can be readily deduced from the word: a nexus or star-gate between the acausal and the casual worlds. The ONA had a unique pantheon of dark gods and goddesses relating to the opening of star gates through which acausal energies would be manifested on earth. A large corpus of occult literature was formulated by the ONA, indicating Myatt's depth of occult knowledge.
Myatt explained the cyclic interregnum during which adepts could work to herald the next civilisation:
"Regarding Aeons, two important facts should be borne in mind. First the last five hundred years or so of an Aeon show a marked decline in the magickal energy associated with it, and it is during this time that the energies of the next Aeon gradually become evident (at first usually only to Adepts) these energies may be increased (or decreased) by Aeonic magick worked by those who understand the forces involved. Second, each Aeon is associated with what is called a 'higher civilisation' from which the Aeon usually takes its name. Within the physical confines of this higher civilisation is the (usually sacred) place where the magickal energies of the Aeon are pronounced - and this because such a place is usually a physical Gate where the causal and the acausal meet. For instance, the centre associated with the Hyperborean Aeon was Stonehenge; that of the Hellenic, Delphi. " (Myatt aka Thorold West, 1989, Naos, The Septenary System).
In explaining terms, Myatt defines a Star-Gate or nexion as "a nexus between the acausal and the causal." These star-gates are in the ONA Tradition "the regions of space near the stars Algol, Dabih, and Naos" and they are said to be actual physical gates, not simply metaphors. (Myatt, Naos, Notes on Esoteric Tradition).
The Adept opens a nexion within the psyche by following the "seven fold way" of the ONA, a grade system that tests the physical endurance of the aspirant as much as the mental and psychological. (Myatt, Naos, Part One: Physis Magick).
In defining the causal and the acausal, Myatt states that "the causal is the 'physical universe", described by three dimensional and linear time. The acausal is the universe described by "an unspecified number of spatial dimensions and by non-linear time." Life is a manifestation of the acausal within the causal. It is in the psyche where the two universes coincide, and where the individual might become part of the acausal by opening a nexion. Archetypes are a manifestation of this. As this relates to Aeons, Myatt explains:
"An Aeon is a particular ordering of the causal on Earth which is manifest as a civilisation - i.e. an increasing of the acausal, usually at a specified place/area for a specified period of (linear) time). Magick is the presencing of the acausal in the causal." (Myatt, Naos, Acausal/Causal).
These fundamentals of Aeonics and Aeonic magick were articulated and refined over a number of MSS some by Myatt, others by his protégé and successor as ONA Grand Master Richard Moult, a talented artist and musician, both often writing under the generic pseudonym Anton Long. [Note by JRW: see Footnote (1) below.]
Myatt himself has had a long spiritual odyssey, somewhat reminiscent of the legend of Doctor Faustus himself, a never-ending quest for knowledge.
In 1998 Myatt converted to Islam and identifies with the militant manifestations of the Muslim world. Like Ungern-Sternberg, who is considered below, who converted to a militaristic Buddhism as his answer to Bolshevism and Western decadence in the aftermath of World War I, Myatt became a Muslim as his answer to the West's spiritual void and break with Tradition. He now sees the West as irredeemably lost and not capable of emerging from its cycle of decline. Myatt, now known as Abdul-Aziz ibn Myatt, relates something of this spiritual odyssey in a recent interview:
"What it is about this faith, rather than all of the others, that has gripped you? What is it about Islamic culture, law and the way of life that has so spoken to your heart and soul over ours?"
Basically, Islam is a true middle-way. It is simple both in practice and in theory, and is an easy Way for we fallible, error-prone, human beings to become better individuals. Consider, for instance, prayer - Salat (also called Namaz). This is always short, and easy to do. It is a combination of words, gestures and movement - unlike any other form of prayer such as Nazarene, Buddhist, heathen. … In my life, I have experienced and performed many types of prayer - from Buddhist to Taoist to Anglican, to Catholic (including those of Benedictine and Carthusian monasticism) to Hinduism - and of all of them I found Namaz to be both the most human and the most numinous, the most imbued with the Divine, for we prostrate ourselves before God, knowing ourselves for the weak individuals we are. One of the many remarkable things I remember about Islam is when, only a short while after my own conversion, I went to travel again in the Desert, and it was so poignant doing Namaz there, with no one around for hundreds of miles: saying the same words, and praying in the same way, as the Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam) had done, over one thousand and forty years ago; for alone, in the Desert, one can feel the closeness of God, of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala - feel how slender is the thread by which we cling to life. One can sense the true Peace that is Jannah (Paradise) and the wonder of Life, of Creation." (Myatt, http://www.dwmyatt.info/questions-dm.html).
He sees Islam as the only means by which Western decadence can be swept from the world, to make way for a numinous civilisation based on Islam. Myatt sees instead of a Western Imperium leading to Galactic Empire, a world Muslim Civilisation; under a world Khalifate, re-establishing a chivalrous, honourable ethos, where the West cannot. One could be reminded that it was the Islamic civilisation in its "Spring" Cycle that provided the impetus for learning and culture, that brought much to Europe, laid the basis for modern chemistry and mathematics, and provided the basis for the West's Knightly chivalry which the Crusaders had encountered among their Muslim foes.
While Myatt repudiates many of his previous views his fundamental ethos remains, the ideals of the numinous; of life based on honour and chivalry; a detestation of the ignoble and the cowardly, the hedonistic and materialistic that he continues to see dominating the West in its decline, and of the prospect of a Galactic Empire, all these now possibly being manifested under Islam rather than by calling upon dark astral gods. In a recent interview Myatt explains the position he's adhered to since his conversion in 1998:
"What I gradually discovered in the years leading toward my reversion to Islam was that the numinous is presenced in Deen Al-Islam, and that it is Deen Al-Islam which today as in the past produces honourable, modest, individuals who possess manners, who respect what is sacred, and who thus are civilized. In addition, who are the honourable warriors of today other than the Mujahideen who fight against often overwhelming odds and who prefer death to dishonour? What kind of community - "society" - would and could Deen Al-Islam create were such honourable warriors to be triumphant? Would they not build a Khilafah led by an Ameer, a Khalifah (a leader) and would this Khilafah not be everything I once dreamed an Imperium might be, and might not this Khilafah be an example to others as the Khilafah in Al-Andulus was to the barbarians of Europe, and might it not, its enemies defeated, reach out toward the stars and so establish a new and Galactic Empire? Thus, as I wrote in an autobiographical essay:
"As for my dream, my life-long vision, of a Galactic Empire - of the exploration and settlement of Outer Space - there was a time, not that long ago, when I came to the conclusion that we human beings were too ignoble, too barbaric, too uncivilized, to do this, and that, if we did undertake such adventures beyond the Earth, we would only be spreading dishonour: spreading our disease of hubris, spreading our destruction of the Numinous. But now - now as I veer toward the sixth decade of my life - I feel that we can avoid such things: that there is a cure for the disease of hubris and of dishonour, and that were we to be cured - and thus return to our natural fitrah - then we could and perhaps should so venture forth, under the banner of Deen Al-Islam." (Myatt, http://www.dwmyatt.info/questions-dm.html).
On a question regarding the present state of the West, Myatt states:
"The peoples of the West have significantly changed in the last fifty or so years. The England I knew as a youth, fresh from a life in the Far East and Africa - the England my father and my grandfather thought they fought in two World Wars for - has almost disappeared. Manners have been replaced with arrogant selfishness; gentlemanly (and lady-like) self-effacement and modesty has been replaced by loutish behaviour in public and in private; and restraint has given way to decadence, greed and self-indulgence. Honour is almost completely lacking, in public and in private. The West is now the domain of Homo Hubris: of the arrogant, the preening, the dishonourable human being who is intolerant of, or unmindful of, the numinous, which numinous is, in truth, the genesis of honour and of manners and of all the civilizing virtues." (Myatt, ibid.).
From a cyclic perspective, the question remains as to whether Islam itself passed its own cycle of decline centuries ago, and descended irredeemably into what Spengler (Spengler, 1963, 159-186, Primitives, Culture-Peoples, Fellaheen) called a Fellaheen culture ; that is to say a culture that has expended all its energies, and is not capable of revival. At the very least, what might be said of the present world crisis is that Islam is the only bloc representing Tradition that is consciously in revolt against globalisation.

David Myatt and the Order of Nine Angles
Notes by JRW

While it is generally known and accepted that Moult was involved with the ONA and produced some of their writings and other works, such as “the sinister Tarot” card deck, he never became a “Grand Master” - having left the group halfway through his training.

The Order postulates Satanism as an arduous individual achievement of self-mastery and Nietzschean self-overcoming, with an emphasis on individual growth through practical acts of risk, prowess and endurance.[14] Rites of passage, often connected to promotion in grade level, include spending three months living rough in a forest bereft of human contact,[2][7] and the assumption of difficult occupations to develop personality and leadership ability.[14]
Therefore, "[t]he goal of the Satanism of the ONA is to create a new individual through direct experience, practice and self-development [with] the grades of the ONA system being highly individual, based on the initiates' own practical and real-life acts, instead of merely performing certain ceremonial rituals".[7] Thus, true Satanism, the ONA assert, requires venturing into the realm of the forbidden and illegal, in order to make contact with the "sphere of acausal, sinister forces of the cosmos".[14]
In addition, "one of the things that sets the ONA apart from other existing Left Hand Path groups relates to their idea of Aeons which naturally leads to long-term goals (meaning about 3-500 years), that go beyond the acts and lifespan of a single individual".[7] Hence the ONA claims that its sinister tribes are an important part of its Aeonic strategy to build a new, tribal-based, more sinister way of life, and to disrupt and eventually overthrow the societies of what it calls "the mundanes".[8]
Another difference is, according to Goodrick-Clarke, that "compared to the eclectic nature of American Satanism, many ideas and rituals of the ONA recall a native tradition of wicca and paganism. The frequent reference to wyrd, the Anglo-Saxon term for destiny, indicates a native pre-Christian tradition, while the rhythm of the seasons is upheld by holding ceremonies at the equinoxes, the rising of stars and other astronomical events."[14]
Within the initiatory system of the ONA, "insight roles play an important part [...] Undertaking an insight role means gaining real-life experience by working undercover for a period of six to eighteen months, challenging the initiate to experience something completely different from their normal life both to 'aid the Sinister dialectic' and to enhance the experience of the Initiate."[16] Therefore, "through the practice of 'insight roles', the order advocates continuous transgression of established norms, roles, and comfort zones in the development of the initiate [...] This extreme application of ideas further amplifies the ambiguity of satanic and Left Hand Path practices of antinomianism, making it almost impossible to penetrate the layers of subversion, play and counter-dichotomy inherent in the sinister dialectics."[23]
In addition to insight roles and other occult training, the ONA initiate is also expected to study and practice The Star Game, a three dimensional system of Occult correspondences used as a form of aeonic sorcery, [24][25] the advanced form of which is part of the training of what the ONA call the grade of Internal Adept [26] and which three dimensional game for two players[27] David Myatt invented in 1975 [28] to be, according to Goodrick-Clarke, an esoteric part of "the graded hierarchy" of the ONA and the training for adeptship.[29]
The ONA's writings condone and encourage human sacrifice.[15][30][31] According to the ONA this "culling" serves not just a social Darwinian purpose, but is also connected to the promotion of a new Aeon: "The change that is necessary means that there must be a culling, or many cullings, which remove the worthless and those detrimental to further evolution."[32] The presencing of acausal energies, such as through culling, is meant to create a new Aeon, whose energies will then create a newer, higher civilization from the energy unleashed.[33]
Probably because of the ONA's highly radical stance, there is open animosity between the ONA and "mainstream" Satanists such as the Church of Satan.[15] The ONA publicly disavows any connection to Church of Satan, claiming the Satanic Bible to be a "watered-down philosophy".[34]
The Temple of Set proscribed the ONA in the early 1980s for its avowal of human sacrifice.[35]
In recent years, according to Senholt, "ONA-inspired activities, led by protagonist David Myatt, managed to enter the scene of grand politics and the global 'War On Terror', because of several foiled terror plots in Europe that can be linked to Myatt's writings".[16]

Abyssal Dark

I quickly wrote a very short story using ideas I had a few months ago called “Grey Moon.” It was based on a certain frustration I had with Buddhism in that it seemed to me to be circular in its world view and seemed to avoid the most obvious question: Where did it all come from?

It wasn’t a big deal anyways. Not like my life would fall apart if I didn’t know the answer to that question. But I complained about my discontent with the Buddha anyways to my bhikkhu grandpa. I was saying something like: “If the Buddha was so enlightened, why did he avoid enlightening us about where the universe comes from? Instead the Buddha seems to just ‘beat around the bush’ obsessively teaching about kamma, cause and fruit, this from that, co-dependent arising, emptiness, but nothing about how everything started. Did he not know? Were the people of that period too dumb to even understand had he tried to explain the origins of the universe?”

And my grandpa said something like: “You’re just not seeing thing fully. Samma Dhitti means to See [dhitti] everything all at once, all together, completely [samma] without leaving anything out. It’s like your eyes are focused and attached to the Bo Tree the Buddha sat under and being so attached to the tree you frustrate your own self about where the tree came from because you failed to consider its roots and the earth it grows out of which feeds it. Therefore it is not the Buddha’s fault, it is the fault of your own limits of perception.” I suppose what he was trying to say was that maybe I was ‘barking up the wrong tree?’

Sunyata

So there I was staring at a picture of the Bo Tree and Buddha underneath it, with what my grandpa said in the back of my mind, which in itself was enlightening for me. Which was when I came to notice that both the tree and the Buddha have something in common: both have aspects about their “Nature” people often forget to See, without which each would not be what they are. The tree has its root system deep below the ground, and it also has the earth whose nutrients the roots draw up; such that it can be said that the tree and the earth it is rooted in are one single causal system. The tree also has its corporeal history of originating from a seed, becoming a sapling, and gradually growing into a big tree.

The Buddha also has his roots which we often forget to See: his life’s history. He was born a little prince, grew up living total luxury, ignorance, and indulgence, then becoming a Buddha. Like the tree, his roots is grounded firmly in the ‘world’ and environment he was born and conditioned inside of [India ~500BC].

Sunyata [Emptiness] in Theravada isn’t a big issue, as the Mahayana [especially Zen] makes it out to be. In fact it’s not even taught to anybody. If you are ever curious about it, you ask some monk, and a brief explanation is given. This is because sunyata is a modality of perception, and not a means – in and of itself – to Nirvana or Enlightenment. And therefore in Theravada it is not considered a doctrine of vital importance, where it’s a matter of life and death to know. Or like it’s so cool you’d base your entire religion on it like the Zen people do.

But sunyata is like a keystone modality of perception. If you take a keystone out of an arch, the whole arch falls apart. And sunyata is the same way, if you don’t grasp sunyata, then most of Buddha’s teachings won’t make any rational sense, and you’d be prone to grasping for goofy beliefs to explain your confusion about things like the idea that all things are impermanent, “reincarnation,” co-dependent arising, and anatta. Most of the time, the word Emptiness isn’t used in Theravada to mean Sunyata. I’ve always heard the descriptor “impermanence” used in my circle.

Which is why growing up I always had the idea that Buddhism was really dreary and pessimistic, because you’re told over and over again that nothing lasts forever, everything changes, and nothing that exists is permanent. But there is more to sunyata then this misunderstanding of it.

The picture of the Bodhi Tree and Buddha are good places to draw out a better understanding of sunyata. When I say “sunyata” most often I mean that “things” that exist have a Nature or inherent quality of impermanence, yet also the quality of co-dependent arising.

To illustrate we can take the flowing Ganges. On the right side of the Ganges is a Brahmin and on the left side of the river is the Buddha. The Brahmin says: “Look, it’s the Ganges River. It’s been here forever, and most likely it will be here for a thousand more years. It never really changes since it’s always been here. And the Buddha argues and says: “Let’s step inside the River shall we? Now how permanent and forever is this River? It is never the same river twice. The water that was once around our ankles has gone far down stream. It is a new river every moment. It is never the same thing.” That’s sunyata. It’s not saying that the river is an illusion and unreal, because there is “something” there, but that “something” is amorphous who’s Nature is change.

All things that exist in physical realm of phenomena, exists in a state of sunyata. The Bo Tree once started off as a seed. Only at that moment was its Nature a seed. But when that seed became a sapling, that seed Nature no longer exists. When the sapling grows into a large tree, the essence, Nature, or Being [bhava] of that sapling no longer exists; because it has causally become [bhava] something else, with a different Nature.

When I use the word “causal” here, I would mean to suggest “Causality,” or “Causal Mechanics.” By causal mechanics I mean a “mechanical” system that works on simple Output> algorithms. A snack machine is a causal system: you put in money, it gives you a bag of chips. Nature is a causal system: it rains, and the rain feeds the plants, the plants grow and it feeds the animals, the animals grow, and it feeds people [the Buddha calls this “co-dependent arising.”] A game of checkers is a causal system; your move is the Input, the reaction is the Output.

People – like the Buddha – are good examples of sunyata. I remember someone [can’t remember who] once said: “Man is a Verb,” and in saying that this person captured the very Nature and Essence of the sunyata of man.

The Buddha started off as a baby, then grew into a 1 year old. When that happened that baby that once existed is gone, it no longer exists. When the 1 year old gradually Becomes a 5 year old, that 1 year old boy is gone. Its 1 year old body is gone. Its 1 year old mind, memories, world view, emotions, etc, are all gone. The 5 year old is a completely new causal organism. When that 5 year old Becomes a 13 year old boy; the 5 year old seizes to exist. The new 13 year old boy has its own body – with new cells and organs – its own look, its own emotions, mind, mentality, personality, etc. When that 13 year old Becomes a 30 year old Buddha, the 13 year old that once existed no longer causally exists anywhere. We can’t say that the Buddha and the 13 year old boy this Being was are the “same” entity because nothing about them in body, mind, and emotion are the “same.”

But it can be said that before the 13 year old vanished out of existence, it did put into motion Acts, which causally affected or influenced the life and existence of the 30 year old Buddha. Although that 13 year old no longer exists, the Buddha’s existence is co-dependent causally on that 13 year old. In the very same sense that a Bo Tree’s being is dependent on a previous Bo Tree that bore its seed.

So it can be said that as far as the material universe goes, existence – or the existence of material things – is dependent on causation, where one “thing” arises from a previous “thing,” then vanishes out of existence, but causes to exist another “thing.” In other words, the whole physical cosmos is a big giant causal machine. “Cosmos” ultimately coming from the Greek word meaning “order” as in coherent organization or an orderly system of some kind. Which seems to suggest that Causation may not be chaotic but in fact orderly, in the sense that such chain reactions of causation follows simple Cosmic or universal “laws” of “causal mechanics.”

Causal Reality

Causation is a bitch, especially in regard to materialism. It gets me frustrated at times during those moments when I am thinking and meditating about life. Because: What the hell Caused the universe to exist? Why is it here? How did it get here? Where did it come from? Where or what was it before?

Both materialists and supernaturalists have their own explanations. To the materialist, generally, the universe has real measurable causes, and we can logically trace each “thing” to a cause.” People came from monkeys, monkeys came from prehistoric rodents. Prehistoric rodents came from mutant reptiles. Mutant reptiles came from fish that got tired of living in the sea. The fish came from amoebas. The amoebas came from lighting hitting a gassy swamp. The earth that made the lightning and gassy swamp came from the coagulation of space dust. The space dust came from a blown up star. And this can go on and on forever. But the supernaturalists come along and say that this sort of infinite regression is impossible and that there has to be a First Cause, therefore some sort of God is the First Cause. But then what Caused that God to come into being? Oh nothing they say, it is without cause, it has always been around forever. Infinite regressive causation is not possible but the existence of an eternal “something” is???

Which gets me to ask myself: Is the universe finite or infinite? If it is finite, then what is it “floating” in and what Caused that? I can’t get myself to rationally believe that the material universe is infinite. Not because such a notion is hard to grasp, but because the universe just does not exhibit the quality of something which was been “around” causally causing things into existence forever. But a primordial aspect of it could be infinite? Right?

So I was shopping for groceries at an Asian food store in the produce section with a few people. We had walked by these big green pomelos which are like grapefruit, but bigger and they stay green when ripe. And one of the friends I was with said: “God look at those, where did they come from?” And – being a smartass – I said: “From a tree, duh.” And one of our very smart and insightful friends said back to me: “Not from a tree, THROUGH a tree.” We go: “What do you mean?” And our friend said something like: “The fruit buds on the tree like yeast cells. It grows through the tree. The tree draws up water and nutrients from the ground, and that stuff is used to create the fruit. Therefore you are wrong. It did not originally come from the tree. It has its originations in the ground. Which is why you can influence and affect the taste and quality of the fruit by using different fertilizers and minerals.” [We’re Asian].

This reminded me of what my grandpa had said to me, that my frustration from not understanding where or how the universe came to be is due to my awareness being fixated in the wrong places. Like looking for diamonds in a coal mine, believing that diamonds come from – are caused into existed by – carbon atoms then ending up confused because you can’t find one.

Or in a different way, it is almost as if we were chess pieces on a cosmic board game that operates on simple causal rules of interaction, such that over time, simple things become complex things. So as these chess pieces on this board game, we look around at the complexities of our surroundings and ask ourselves how did it all come to be.  And we can logically – if we understand the mechanics and rules of the cosmic game – trace our “moves” backwards to gain an idea of where things came from. But we end up at a point where causation seems to not be detectable. In our chess game scenario this is the beginning of the game where every piece is in its very beginning positions. In material science this may be that weird point in time just before the so called big bag, where we just can’t trace our steps back anymore rationally.

We can call that ne plus ultra point ‘The Threshold,” which is where causal causation just seems to hit a wall and a “prime cause” which we assume should exist is just not there. So if we represent the Causal Material Cosmos as the Chess Game Board and Pieces and Rules of the Game, and we have reached the Threshold, we ask ourselves what is beyond that point. What Caused the game board to come into existence? And the answer is very simple: The cause of the chess game has nothing to do with the chess board, chess pieces, or chess rules. The game of chess was once an IDEA in someone’s Mind. That idea manifested itself as the causal system of the chess game.

Thinking about games I naturally thought about the Star Game, which symbolically is a much better example of the complexity of causation. In the Star Game [of the ONA] each time a piece moves it changes “identity” into a completely different alchemical elemental “compound.” So the further in the game you go, the more very different pieces are caused into existence from what they originally were. Just like Nature. Hydrogen and Oxygen come together and gives rise to water which looks nothing like either its two original causal “parents.” If we were such pieces in the midst of a complex Star Game [which uses 7 boards], and we traced our steps back to the Threshold and ask ourselves: Ok, what’s the spooky stuff beyond this threshold of no causation? The answer would be very simple, but heterodox, in the sense that the answer has nothing to do with the “reality” of the Star Game, or the logic/science that we used to trace our steps back: The Star Game came out of the Mind of “Anton Long.”

Acausal Mind

I’ve always found this Myattian word [acausal] to be very useful, although I may not at times use the word with its original basic meaning. When I first encountered the word, I didn’t like it, because of its grammatical meaning. A+Causal meaning or suggesting “Without Causation.” I objected to the notion of anything “acausal” even existing because nothing in the known physical universe does not have a cause. That is until I actually looked at my own Mind and noticed that the “Mindscape” of the Mind is in essence completely acausal in nature.

To illustrate, when I think of an apple in my mind or visualize an apple, the apple which I “see” in this Mindscape came into existence essentially without any factors of causation. I did not have to plant an apple seed in my mindscape, water it, give it miracle grow, and wait for a thought-form tree to bare an apple in my mind. It literally came out of nothing. I can also “create” entire environments in this mindscape with mountains, forests, lakes, and place myself inside, and it all literally came into existence without cause. Because in this environment – the mindscape – the laws of causal mechanics are non-applicable and just do not exist. And if you deeply think about it, this is the entire reason why most of us are so clumsy in causal life. Why?

Because we are born into existence as “mind-beings” and we spend most of our first years immersed in worlds of dreams, theta and delta wave “consciousness,” with our awareness is fixated in a world that is not causal in essence. Only in time, when we have learned to focus our consciousness on the causal world, do we become consciously aware of the physical world; during which time [early childhood] we grow consciously aware of ourselves as “physical beings” with bodies.

But many of us in life, exhibit the behavior of a maladjusted alien in a foreign land, in that we fail to fully grasp or understand the causal rules and mechanics of the physical world we “exist” in. And from this inability to consciously understand how the material game board works, were manifest suffering in our own lives, and in the lives of others.

Which all seems to imply something that would make a materialist feel uneasy: that perhaps like the pomelo we do not actually have our origins in this tree, by in some place else, and we have just “budded” like fruits “into here.” Like the budding of fetal flesh at the end of an umbilical cord; just passing through.

So I was doing a mental experiment, trying to figure out if the cosmos is finite or infinite. Neither makes any real sense to me really. In my mind I flew a rocket ship with me in it, and if the universe was finite, I saw myself eventually leaving it and ending up “somewhere” that is “outside” the finite universe. But what did that come from? And if the universe were infinite, I could fly my rocket ship forever and never ever leave it. But this also made no sense because maintaining a universe infinite in size, is way too much a waste of energy. Why, what for?

But then I realized something I never paid mind to before. In my mindscape as I was flying in a theoretical infinite universe, I said to myself that if I lived forever, I can actually sit here and fly my imaginary rocket ship forever in my mindscape and never see the end of it either. Why? Because the “place” I was inside was “nowhere” to begin with. The Mind is not a “where,” or a “here” or “there.” It is neither infinite nor finite. Perhaps in the same way that cyberspace is neither a where, or here, or there, or infinite, or finite; but yet it has “places” to be. Like how we have places to be in our Mindscape when we are consciously dislodged from this world and are inside a dream. And it has always perplexed me why we come into this existence dreaming [as fetuses]; and why we never really leave the world of dreams behind. We are only consciously fixated on this physical world for half a day.

That’s all interesting, but then how does a “thing” which came into existence in the Mind without causation, cause things to come into existence in the causal world of experience? Is such a concept possible? Can a car exist as an idea in someone’s mind before it causally comes into existence? I would think so, after all, cars did not always exist on earth. The causal existence of cars has a very recent acausal threshold: the Mind of Ford. There was a time when a car was a causeless idea in Ford’s Mindscape. Then there was an initiation of sequential co-dependent arisings: people liked the idea, which caused investment of money, which caused factories to be built, which caused parts to be made; and then what was once a causeless “thing” in Ford’s Mind materialized into something causal that had the power to cause into existence other things. Other kinds of cars, other engines, other vehicles, other technologies, etc.

If I were to premeditate a murder and dress in all blue, and went and killed a blood in his neighborhood, and his friends drove by the nearest crip neighborhood to retaliate, and I was taken to court as a suspect; could the courts prove that such causal events which took place in the “real world” had an “acausal” origin in my mind? I would assume so, since cases of premeditated murder happen all the time. A thought which literally came into existence in an acausal environment has the power to initiate a “chain reaction” of causal occurrences in the physical world of experience. That’s bizarre if you think about, because what we are essentially saying is that very “real” things which arise from causation, can be linked to an initial cause which came into existence acausally out of nothing in a completely different world/environment that has nothing to do with the material universe.

The Nexion

There was a time when I was doing mental experiments where I was “digging deeper” into two different unrelated ideas, and I ended up in the same place. I was asking myself how far down the subatomic level I had to go before the physical universe stops being a “where,” or “here,” or “there.” And I realized that I really did not have to go far. On a subatomic level, atoms are so far spread apart that what was once the physical universe becomes neither here nor there, but everywhere and nowhere at the same time. And on a quantum level, where things are just fluctuation of quanta, “waves,” and “quantum foam,” “things” don’t even exist. There are no suns, no Mars, no San Diego, no Riverside County. There isn’t even a real distinction between the brain and its neurons and the “world.” There wasn’t even a real distinction between the electricity the brain’s neurons produced, and the electromagnetism that undulates in the “world” and wall sockets or the circuitry of a computer. We can say in a way that such differentiation are the results of macrophysical “illusions” in that our brain just interprets a differentiation.

And in another mind experiment I asked myself how a brain or mind exerts causal influence onto the world in the first place. Not with hands and legs, but on a deeper level. It’s a kind of Buddhist meditation, where you become mindful of yourself, your environment, and everything which you are doing at the same time. Except in this case I tried to take things down as far as I can go. I was digging a hole in my garden to transplant this one potted plant into its own place, and I asked myself what was actually happening? If there was an atom watching me dig a hole and transplanting a plant, how would it see all of this from its atomic sized perspective? It would prolly see a weird anomalous “typhoon” of atoms and electricity fluctuating. But at its level the other atoms would be so far apart that the fluctuation is more like us staring into the sky and noticing the many dots of stars shifting positions; which perhaps might in not even be a big deal to the atom.

But even in such an intimate “environment” as my own body, you come to a “threshold” when you dig deep. I know my brain fires electricity to move my arms when I am digging the hole. Then all the atoms and parts that make up my body moves accordingly to “something’s” will, which manipulates an entire mass of other atoms into different directions. And on the atomic level, there is no real distinction between all the atoms that is “me” and everything else. The only thing a brain can do to exert its will on the world and its own body is induce and manipulate electron flow. And from that simple ability to manipulate electrons, this brain of ours has created for itself an entire civilization and world. On a very fine atomic level, this manipulation of electrons looks odd, because you see steady “rivers” of electrons flowing in different directions from atom to atom, but no matter which atom you look behind, there doesn’t seem to be an “initiator.” What had the intent of manipulating the flow of those electrons? What initiated that flow? What is exerting its will on this otherwise indistinguishable sea of atoms? Where is it?

And it gets stranger because on this very real atomic and subatomic and even quantum level, we can ask ourselves: are we ever really “born” into anywhere at all? Sure, on a macrophysical level when we see a baby pop out of its mom’s birth canal we can say: “Oh well there you go, a new baby got borned into the earth, what a miracle!” But if an atom saw the birth, what would it actually see? Nothing. Nothing got born anywhere. A mess of atoms may have gradually coagulated together into a very orderly and coherent crystalline structure, but that’s it.

And now we can start to figure out why such a structuring of atoms came together from an otherwise incoherent sea of atoms: for the purpose of manipulating the flow of electrons. I would assume that electrons and energy can “flow” better in a medium that is atomically well structured and crystalline, as opposed to electrons trying to fly across a brick atom “here” to a sidewalk atom way over “there” somewhere. I don’t mean a rock crystal when I use the word crystalline. I mean when atoms are structured in coherent patterns. But again, what has brought these atoms together? Where is “it” in the coherent mess of atoms we call a baby? And where did it come from? How is it that the atoms that make up the brain of this “baby” can somehow exert its will and intent upon its quantum and atomic environment, when other atoms of the same kind not a part of this brain seems to be “dead” lacking a will, intent, and the ability to manipulate electron flow to manifest its will?

So there is a level of material reality where if you honestly look deep enough, that things become “spooky” and distasteful to a materialist. Just like how we rationalists can say that religionists hide their god in the gaps of science; we can also say that the materialist hides his materialist world views in the gaps of the same science. Because 200 years ago before all of this crazy stuff about atoms, subatomic stuff, and quantum crap came up in science, it was real easy for a materialist to walk around with his nose high in the sky acting like he understands all there is to be understood. Now that we have learned that materiality is a conscious illusion, and that it’s all just atoms, subatomic particles, and quantum wavicles the materialist has to stick his head in the sand to hold onto his world views. Where will materialism hide 100 years from now when we have better instruments, more refined technology, and a more profound grasp of our reality?

This is not to imply that I am a “supernaturalist,” meaning that I believe in things above and beyond the Natural world. Quite the opposite actually – as I have tried to express thus far – I am a “Subnaturalist.” There is a gradation to the Natural world as we have already come to understand. There is the everyday world around us which we are all familiar with. Underneath that there is the atomic level of reality. Underneath that there is a Subatomic level to reality. Beneath that there is a quantum level of reality. This is about as far as we have been able to rationally unveil the Cosmos.

I also believe that Nature or the Cosmos, or Reality is Fractal in nature. By Fractal I mean to say that if you look at a fractal pattern for its general shape, then look closely at the little patterns that makes the big pattern up that we observe that both are the same shape or pattern. Such that if we were to see a large fractal patter we can reasonably say that the smaller patterns it is made of will look similar, and vise verse. If we observe a small fractal pattern, knowing that we are looking at a fractal pattern, we can reasonably say that the “bigger” pattern may be of the same pattern, even if we have not seen such yet directly.

So if the cosmos is fractal in nature, and we observe that it has Subnatural gradation of states of existence, then we must also be able to see the same general subnatural patterns on different scales and in different parts of or aspects of the cosmos. Do we?

There is no real level of mental state above and beyond beta wave waking consciousness; as in “superconsciousness.” Our conscious mind would be like the Natural world in this sense. But there is a SUBconscious mind beneath that conscious mind. Beneath that there is the Unconscious Mind. Underneath that there is what Jung refers to as the Collective Unconscious.

It’s almost as if there is a “connexion” or link between these two very different things [the Natural world and the Mindscape] which is an “abyss” of electrons or energy at the more finer levels of the physical world. Through which whatever Mind is, can intrude into or exert its will upon. And this idea is not as crazy as it sounds, because in science we already know that the Observer simply observing an experiment can influence the results.

Somewhere in that “abyss” thought energy and the waves that become particles, seem to mingle together weaving into one another as a single fabric. Almost as if the Mindscape were an ocean with its many levels, and the physical universe was an iceberg in it. That thin layer or place between the ocean and the surface of the iceberg, where dark ocean water is neither water or ice, where the particles of one becomes coherent crystalline structures of another, is that abysmal “fabric” where the weaving takes place. Where one gives rise to the other, not by any method of causal chain reactions, but by an alchemical process of the prima materia of Mind coagulating and crystallizing into matter.

It can be said: “That’s impossible! The physical universe is causal! Its most fundamental law is causality. That’s how it works. Therefore it can’t arise from a system that doesn’t follow such inherent laws of causation.” But we do know that even when the same type of atom is structured differently that such structures naturally assume different laws of behaviour.

For example water and ice. Both are H2O molecules are made of the same “stuff.” But one is less coherent, while the other exists in a more coherent crystalline structure. And somehow, because of the coagulation of the same atoms in more crystalline structures they not only look way different, but they react and behave differently also and have their own distinct laws and properties. Coal and diamond are better examples. Same atoms, just different structures, but the carbon atoms in coal is in no particular order or structure, whereas the carbon atoms of a diamond are in a very rigid and well defined coherent ordering. And so because of that mere difference in structure, the coal and the diamond not only look completely different, but they have their own “Nature,” and properties, they react differently to things, and they have their own Natural laws.

But then every element on the periodic table would be a good example, because as different and wildly unique each element is on the periodic table, it’s all basically and literally just the same 3 usual suspects in different formations and structures: electrons, protons, and neutrons. Helium and Gold have completely different Natures, properties, and governing laws, but they are made of the same three things. You can melt gold and say that it is a “natural law” for gold to melt when heat is applied; but you can’t melt helium. You can say that it is a natural law for helium to float; but if you fill a hot air balloon with gold, it won’t float.

So in a way, saying that a causal world cannot arise from an acausal world; because whatever the causal world comes from has to obey the same natural laws of causation that governs it; is like say that whatever gold is made of, it must obey the same natural laws that gold does, otherwise it’s just illogical. But then again, logic seems to not work so well on the quantum level doesn’t it. Gold, like all things, is just an alchemical coagulation of the same quantum and subatomic stuff; and we do know that the laws that govern the material cosmos, don’t work or apply on the quantum level, and vise versa.

Acausal Origins

I suppose my problem was in trying to figure out a reasonable explanation for how the cosmos came to be was that I was too fixated on a linear method of backtrack thinking: This arose from that, and that was caused by the other thing. And I tried to think in that linear fashion as far back as I could, which took me to dead ends. Maybe life and the universe isn’t as perfectly linear as we would like it to be. I’m starting to think that the universe grows like a tree. It grows “upwards” vertically, and each point on that vertical growth branches out horizontally. And like a tree we seem to only take notice of what we can see of it: just the trunk, branches, and leaves. Forgetting that perhaps this tree has unseen roots that stretches far deep into a dark an unknown abyss that feeds this tree its vital nutrients. Or is it really unknown?

We are born into this world like a fruit grows on a tree. That fruit has its essential origins deep within the dark earth as liquid, nutrient or vital substance. That vital substance is drawn up through the roots system and up the trunk, the tree surrounds this vital substance with what material it has as a shell, and the fruit then intrudes into a world above the chthonic darkness; to fall to the fertile ground from whence it came to one day be its own tree and bare its own fruit. What if we – as beings – are not native to this causal world, but only intrusions from a much darker and deeper “world?” A world more akin to the dream world and mindscape in which we come into our existence completely immersed in, which we never really leave behind.

I was looking at the picture of the Bo Tree with the Buddha seated underneath it after all of these speculations, and I saw it differently. I thought it was funny how the unknown original artist who came up with this bit of allegory used such “esoteric” contrasting. In the background there is a tree, whose nature it is to bare leaves and fruit. It draws up vital nutrients from the unseen ground and leaves and fruit grows up high in its branches. Then in the foreground is Buddha, whose title essentially means “Mind.” He sits still and enter deep states of meditation, where his mind travels under, into lower and deeper levels of consciousness, where he finds Sambodhi [Self Realization] and from that deep dark place Emerges with Sambuddhi [Self Enlightenment] and is liberated from the illusory fetters of the material world he was born into.

If I were the Buddha, how would I teach what I have here written to a group of illiterate people, who were born and bred to believe that gods made everything? I prolly wouldn’t even bother. Knowing that these people were not natives to the physical world, and are just travelers in a foreign land, unaccustomed to its laws and rules, I’d just teach them how the causal world works so they can get the best out of it.

Who knows if my insights are true, all I know is that for now, it makes sense to me. In my personal quest to try and understand the world in my own way, I have genuinely found the ONA – more specifically the many concepts David Myatt put together – to be an invaluable tool. Like a hand shovel I use to dig around for artifacts. This world view I have now, leaves room for non-corporeal beings. Not supernatural beings beyond the physical world in some spirit realm. But living “archetypes” that lurk deep in the collective uncounscious. Subnatural beings that dwell in some primeval collective psyche of the Living Cosmos. From where we may have our primal origins as well. As feral thought-forms emanating from the acausal, intruding into the causal world for awhile. Like actors all dressed up intruding onto a kabuki stage. Or as children intruding into a playground for a while to play. Now, if only I knew “where” the acausal or mind comes from.

GREY MOON

There was a grey owl hooting in a large Ash Tree under a grey twilit moon which I saw. Seven large branches were there all together, and from each there grew three large cinereous Samaras. I climbed onto the first branch which stretched towards the full moon to pick its noctulian fruit. When half way up the first branch, I looked down and saw a Buddha seated at the base of the trunk deep in zazen. He had on himself a grey robe, facing the huge trunk.

He said to me quietly without looking at me: “What do you see on that tree Upasika?”

I said: “21 Grey Devatas growing on this tree. But they are not real Tathagata.”

“How so?” The Uttamapuriso asked me.

“So I have heard it explained to me. That such things as Devatas are not real in the sense that you and I and this tree are real?”

“The tree is real, but the fruits are not Upasika?” He asked.

“The fruits are only archetypes that grows out of the Mind which is this tree Tathagatha, so I figure.”

He asked: “What do you see when you perceive this tree Upasika?”

I answered: “A trunk, branches, and leaves. Things of causal substance. In this tangible world, that which is beyond the Natural is not real Tathagata, so I assume.”

“It takes more than a trunk, branches, and leave, to Make a tree Upasika. There is the root system you do not perceive, and there is the entire earth the roots are attached to you forget to perceive. In a sense Upasika, a tree is a system which is composed of the earth, its root system, and what exists above ground. Thus you only see the tip of the causal iceberg Upasika. Trees grow from out of the dark underground, and decay back to the darkness from which they came. You only see the causal fruits of a greater, more fundamental reality. You are yourself only a fruit of that tree Upasika.”

When he had said that, I looked at my legs which straddled the first branch I was on, and it they had become branchlets attached to the tree. I began to ponder on my own Nature and where my roots went.

I said to the Seated One: “I suppose this tree isn’t as real as it seems Tathagata. On a quantum level, its fundamental parts is a flux of energy, waves and such like. Which energy has its own mysterious and unknowable source. Mind, I suppose has its roots deep in the Collective Unconscious, Tathagatha. I guess I am a mere fruit of this tree.”

“Therefore…?” He urged.

“Therefore, this causal reality is merely the tip of a triangle, or a point of convergence of a much greater and unseen base. Thus it is not entirely accurate to believe that what causal world I observe is the only Real and that it is not in itself a foundation of itself. Perhaps it is more accurate to say that this world of experiantial substance is a causal fruit of the wrydful weaving of acausal darkness and unseen energy Tathagata.”

He said to me as he was pointing to the trunk of the tree: “This trunk of this three – which you are a living fruit of – is a nexion. What acausal substance, force, energy, archetypes, and such passes through this nexion temporarily assumes causal substance. In the same sense that you yourself assumed your corporeal substance through the nexion of an umbilical cord. Thus, as you yourself had your beginnings and origins in a Living and motherly source on the other side of your cord; so do all things in the causal world have their primeval Cause in the unseen realm on the other side of these nexions, Upasika.”

Thus I reflectively asked: “So these 21 Devatas are both archetypes and living entities at the same time, with their reality being rooted in the Collective Unconscious and the Acausal realm beneath this causal world? And they intrude into this experiential realm through apertures, as light passes though optical fibers? We only see the end of a much larger system, and not the beginning source and cause. I suppose to believe and see the causal as the only Real is to see things backwards Tathagata.”

He aked me in return: “What do you call a winged seed of an Ash Tree Upasika?”

“A Key Tathagata.”

“And so you have Unlocked a mystery Upasika.”

And when he said that I turned into a Spinning Jenny and fell from the tree, twirling softly and slowly to the moisten moon lit ground, thinking to myself how grey the moon was this night. And I took root. Aperiatur Terra Et Germinet…

THE ART OF REAPING

The Art of Reaping

“Come as a Reaper, for thus will you sow.” – 6th Satanic Point; Codex Saerus; ONA

Destruction

The first thing that comes to Mind in most of us when we read the sixth Satanic Point is hell cracking open and destruction running amok annihilating everything. Or the image of the grim reaper running around killing city people left and right. Somehow that’s suppose to sow something… something new born from the ashes of something old. So we mislead ourselves into thinking that one must kill and destroy to give birth to something new. Creation does not always comes from destruction.

In a way, the seeds of something new are sown in the death of the old. As we see in Nature. Old trees and plants, and old animals which die are processed by bacteria and fungus into nitrogen rich fertilizer from which grows a new forest.

Old useless alpha male lions in the Serengeti who have grown old and useless are taken down by new younger males… thus the Pride gets an influx of new genes. This may seem ‘not right’ from a localized Time perspective, but on a chronomorphic level, the old replaced by the new insures Nature that Her parts (a species) continues to exist in great stretches of Time. For Nature – as eternal as She is – deals in increments of great Time… in the millions and billions of years. From such great increments of Time, Nature must test and try life forms and genes to insure that each successive generation inherits the means needed to continue across that great stretch of Time.

Civilization, like a forest or pride of lions, form an aeonic perspective, works in the same way over large chunks of Time. Ancient prehistoric civilizations lost in Time rise and fall… and their people disperse taking their wisdom, knowledge, and experiences with them, from whom eventually is borne new kinds of civilizations.  So here we see that the death and destruction of a civilization itself is not the foundation of a new civilization. It is actually the creativity, experience, and intelligence of the people. The destruction – like a blank canvas – only gives them the freedom to express their Minds and creativity. Anyway, from the fall of an old civilization, arises new forms of civilization… and from this there is Progression of Humanity. From the ancient ashes and ancestral wisdom of ancient civilizations came in Time, the kingdoms and empires of Europe. These in turn were disrupted, and destroyed… and from the ashes of these old empires sprouted republics – a new form and species of human civilization. No doubt the civilizations we presently know of such as America, have brought our species very far into the future.

If our species is to continue Progressing forward to actualize our full human potential, we must understand that there must come a Time when what civilizations we know of today shall become Old, Stagnant and Useless… no longer having the potency, inspiration, and influence to captivate our Minds and Dreams… like a stagnant and inert religion.  Such civilizational stagnation is like an artery that has become blocked, where the Flow forward has stopped. As cells – which we each are – of such a blocked artery and heart, such blockage of Flow kills us en mass – if not in bodily death, then death in Mind, Creativity, and Potential. The Old and Useless must be destroyed… its citizens (seeds) must be dispersed, and from the casting of such seeds  – and the knowledge they each carry – will sprout new kinds of civilizations which will thus keep the Flow of our Progression moving forward.

So we see that in the old ONA of many years back often times pre-occupies its time with designing and strategizing the Hows of such an act of destruction is to be accomplished… like an underground rebel force plotting and planning. Yet, hardly is there ever a manuscript which details the images and visions of the End Result of such dreams and goals that inspires and captivates our minds and emotions. This is an important misdirection of ‘psychic’ energy, which will be talked about later.

The Reaper

This big perspective of Nature, and Civilization, is beyond the individual person. Thus, in a way, the ideation of destroying a civilization to materialize a new one is almost – if not – impersonal… or beyond our direct touch. This concept of being a Reaper to sow and create must be brought down to a more direct, personal, and practical level. Brought down to a level imbued with personal experience, rather than theoretical strategy.

A “Reaper” does not actually denote or suggest someone that kills, terrorizes, and destroys. A Reaper is a Harvester. Harvesting crops takes intelligences, wisdom, and planning. Crops aren’t senselessly cut up and killed. Only the Ripe ones are harvested. What is harvested is usually divided into three portions – a part to be used, a part to be sold, and a part to be sown. A skilled and wise farmer who knows when and how to harvest his crops right, can continue his crops year after year, and season after season. This skilled farmer can take one single corn seed, and when given enough time, he can make it grow into an entire field of corn, to benefit himself, his family, and the market.

To “come as a reaper,” on a personal and practical level, means to think as a harvester… to think first of the End Result – that which shall be reaped – and thus to sow in such a way that yields the desired End Result. As that skilled farmer with that single corn seed does not think of the uselessness of the single seed he has, but rather envisions – aeonically – the End Result he desires… which is a field of corn. So he will sow that seed, with that End Result in Mind, and when that seeds becomes a plant he takes the many seeds it gave and uses it wisely – in tune – to the End Result he has in Mind. This End Result is Wyrd – Fate… Destiny.

Men are subject to or mastered by Fate, whereas Gods are masters of their own Fate and Destiny. In other words, the command of wyrd (or lack thereof) is the “birth mark” of a Mundane/Anariya (cow herder of the gods) and the Drecc/Ariya (the gods… in training). So this is the esoteric and practical meaning of coming as a Reaper – to learn to master our own destiny, by not senselessly sowing seeds aimlessly in life, but to have an End Result always in Mind, and to work accordingly in Life to Reap that envisioned End Result… the Fruition our acts and deeds in Life bares.

Since we exist in a Causal Universe, there is a logical science and mechanics to how causality unravels and to how Wyrd Becomes. There is a Cause – seed-cause – to every Fruit, or End Result, or Fate. The mechanics of the causal unfoldment of Wyrd has been expressed in many ancient culture in many ways. The ONA has its own way of expressing the mechanics of Wyrd, which is rarely spoken about. This subject is something which I personally deem of paramount importance, because when we each understand how Destiny unravels, we can take advantage of the mechanics of causality to manifest in Life a Life we desire to live. Personally, I do not want my future children to be mastered by Fate… tossed around by circumstances like drift wood. I want my future children to have an intelligent conscious control over their innate power to create their own Life… to be Masters of their own Destiny and Reality.

Wyrd

The causal mechanics of Wyrd is esoterically hidden in the Tree of Wyrd of the ONA. The imagery of the “Tree” itself symbolizes the Brain. The Brain itself is the upper branches of this Tree, while the nerves that stretch down thru the spinal column are this Tree’s root system. This Tree is the center of its own universe. This Tree is the center thru which the cosmos literally comes into being. In other words, the Fruit this Great Tree bares, is that which we as living beings experience and observe.

Everything and every aspect of our modern existences once first began as a mere thought – seed-cause – in somebody’s Mind. Everything from the airplanes in our sky, to the internet we use, to the nations we are a part of all first began as an ideation. That seed – ideation – is sown, which grows and causally bares Fruit as experience and observable reality. By “observable reality” I don’t mean to denote the “backdrop” of the jungle, mountains, earth, stars, planets, and galaxies. I mean to suggest the “furnishings” of this kabuki stage we call life that we directly experience and directly observe. It is we who decorate and fill this stage with the furniture and props.

This Tree of Wyrd comes with seven spheres, each sphere representing a planet of some kind, and perhaps the archetypes associated with each planet. So we have as the first sphere the Moon, then Mercury, then Venus, then the Sun, then Mars, and Jupiter, then last we have Saturn. Saturn is the End of Wyrd. Saturn is the Reaper or Harvester. In ancient times Saturn was the god of the Harvest and his symbol was the reaping sickle. These seven spheres of the Tree of Wyrd, thus esoterically explains to us in detail the mechanics of Wyrd… how a seed-thought causally materializes into Fruit ready to be reaped by the Harvester.

The Moon is silent and awe inspiring. Its face, its size, and waxing and waning captivates our Minds. By its changing of faces we are able to figure out the seasons and months. By its orbit, we have the phenomenon of the ebb and flow of the Tides on earth. Thus we may symbolize the Moon with Poseidon/Neptune’s trident, who is the archetype of the Dark Sea of our Psyche, from which all our words and thoughts arises. The Moon also represents the night season, during which we sleep dreaming away under its subtle light. The sphere of the Moon represents Inspiration, Initial Thought that comes to our attention, and dreams or visualization.

Mercury is the messenger of the gods. He carries the words and decree of one party to another. By him, the intentions of the gods are made known. The sphere of Mercury represents Intention or Intent. Here the initial inspirational thought is intentionalized.

Venus is the goddess of Love and Beauty. The sphere of Venus represents Desire. Desire is the fuel that backs up and moves the intentioanlized thought forward. Love and Beauty to our species – and all species – is the greatest and most enchanting driving force. How many wars have been fought for Beauty (over a woman). What would we each not do for Love. In other animals, when the season is ripe, no male can resist the sent of a female in heat. It is Desire that drives Nature forward from one generation to the next.

The Sun burns and casts heat. The sphere of the Sun represents the Force of Will and Determination. Here the lunar seed thought, after being empowered by Intention, and fueled by Desire, now burns with Will and Determination. This sphere is the alchemical crucible where the unmanifested seed-thought begins to become a causal phenomenon.

Mars is the god of war. The sphere of Mars is the first stage where the seed-thought takes root in the real world of experience. War, if you think about it is Thought materialized as causal phenomena. War first begins in the Minds of generals ideating, scheming, strategizing, and intelligently planning. Only after such Minds have come to a workable strategy that will yield a desired End Result are the orders given to the soldiers. Then the soldiers executes what were once thoughts, and thru their execution of duties, the thoughts of lofty Minds materializes as reality. How many kingdoms, empires, and republics has our species known that have been born of war? These civilizations born of war once began as a thought in a lofty Mind. The sphere of Mars thus represents Action and the transition of thought-stuff into reality and experience.

Jupiter is king of the gods. His Word is Wyrd. By this I mean that what a King says, orders, commands, wishes, he will get one way or another. As king, what you say and desire, you can expect to receive. It doesn’t matter How to a king. The How is the responsibility of the servants and subjects. All a King is concerned with is getting what he wants. The sphere of Jupiter represents Regal Expectation. That initial lunar thought after coupling with a burning will, and actualized with action and deed, can be Expected to manifest. By regal expectation, I mean to suggest that we each must learn to expect what we wyrdfully set into motion as a King/Queen who has spoken. A King or Queen who has total dominion in their domain, should have no doubt that what they speak, decree, and command should not come to them. It must.

Saturn is the Reaper… Lord of the Harvest. Under his watchful guide and auspice crops grow and bare fruit. The sphere of Saturn represents the Fruition of our thoughts… now ready to be reaped by Saturn’s sickle.

The Work

First the architect is inspired in his Heart to build a Temple. He spends his time Visualizing as best as he can in his Mind’s Eye what he wants his Temple to look like. He will make his Intent to build this Temple. The stronger his visualization and intent, the more Desire is born, which leads into Will and Determination.

This architect then draws his vision of his Temple on his trestle board or blue print. He then Acts by collecting the tools and material and workers needed. He then hands over his vision to his team of workers, and Trusts or Expects his vision to manifest. It doesn’t matter How the workers will do it. All that matters is that the End Results of the finished Temple will look exactly like the envisioned drawing. How is irrelevant. If this architect micromanages the How he only gets in the way of the workers and actually impedes a quick materialization. The Saturnian End Result when the workers are entrusted, is a completed Temple built in the real world of experience which mirrors what once was in the architect’s Mind. This is the causal process of Thought alchemically transmuting into experiential reality.

The How does not matter. Causality is the workmen of Wyrd. Nobody knows “how” causality works in the causal universe. It just does… in the same sense that we know that there are a number of cosmic laws and things that exist such as gravity, electricity, and magnetism. We really don’t know how these things work or why. We have theories, but you don’t have to know how electricity works to use it. You can be a total fool and plug in a lamp and always expect the electricity to turn the lamp on. Who cares How that electricity becomes light… it might be fascinating to electricians, but your average person just wants the End Result – Light.

How and why causality works and exists in our universe may never be known but you don’t have to know how and why to use the natural process of causality. In fact it causes a lot of suffering in Life when you don’t use causality wisely. The causal-seeds you sow – no matter what they are – will bare fruit as your Fate. You each have a choice to either be lame ducks mastered by Fate, or gods who are masters of Fate. When using the natural causal system of the cosmos to materialize your thoughts, no “god of the causal” is used, abused, ordered, or commanded. It is just a natural process. Like jizzing in a girl, you’re not using or controlling some demon of Life to make a baby. When jizz is up in a girl, a natural process just takes place, and you can always Expect the same End Result – a baby. It’s nothing magical, it’s Natural.

That’s the cool thing about Nature – it’s smarter than us. Can you imagine if Nature entrusted us with the secrets of how sperm and egg becomes a living baby… if we had to sit there and consciously divide that zygote into billions of cells, and magically make the baby’s eyes, nose, mouth, and guts? Our species would be extinct in a few years because we are actually not as smart as we claim to be. So who cares – besides biologists – how a baby is made, if you want a baby, you put sperm in a girl and nature just does Her things. Causality works in the same Natural way – stick the sperm-thought of what you want in the womb of Nature and you’ll get want you asked for in a few months. Who cares how it works.

People will ask for proof that causality can be used to manifest thought into experience. The is proof – your own Life’s past experiences. Take the time to seriously and Mindfully meditate for a moment on all of your experiences in Life, and everything that you have from your clothes you wear, to your car, and friends, to your job and wife, or a built body. Take one of those things you Reaped such as your car and work backwards like a detective to figure out what you did to get it. If you honestly do this, you will come to Realize that what thoughts you spend your day time visualizing and imaging, which is backed up by Intention, Desire, Determination, Action, and Expectation, ultimately becomes real.

If you Desire something bad enough, and the Determination is there, you will act it out by seeking it. If it’s a car you will drive around car lots to find the right one. If it’s a girlfriend you will act it out by doing what needs to be done to attract a girl. Likewise, what you spend your time worried about… negatively visualizing and imaging… telling yourself over and over (making the Intention) that you are broke, poor, unhealthy, unloved, will also naturally manifest into your Fate. The Norns are blind, they just weave Wyrd… your own Mind, what visualizations and intentions you fill it with during your waking moments, is the pattern and design that will be woven into the fabric the norns spin.

As A Reaper

As a skilled reaper you begin the Tree of Wyrd backwards with Saturn and determine the End Result you want in Life. Figure out what actions need to be taken… any action or deed that will bring you closer to your goals suffices. Understand that each deed and act bares better fruit when backed up by emotion (Venus). Once you have figured out what each sphere needs to be filled with, you work your way from the sphere of the Moon on up.

Spend about 5 minutes a day vividly visualizing you already having or experiencing the End Result. How is comes to be is not your concern. Don’t try to micromanage something you don’t even understand, you’ll jest get in the way. Usually, what we are most Obsessed over (Sun = Determination/Will) is what we will experience and encounter in Life most often. This requires no rites or rituals, although such things may serve to enhance your emotions and visualizations, determination, action, and expectations. The time just before you go to bed is the best time to do the 5 minutes of visualization, because when you are asleep, you have up to 8 hours of your conscious mind not getting in the way by doubting. The more doubt you have, the less expectation, will, determination, you will have, which affects your actions and desires.

I’ve personally tested this system out over and over again in the real world to know that it works, so I’m not pulling some magical bullshit out of my ass or some book. It’s not magical, it just happens. When it does happened, things come to you thru other people, thru coincidences, and coincidental circumstances. I personally experience these intuitive hunches in my gut after I visualize for something to wyrdfully get it. I’ll feel a pull or tug in my heart area which cause me to think about a place or to go or do something. So I usually follow these tugs which leads me to a person or situation that eventually gives me what I want.

For instance, I get 90% of my books by using this method of visualization and waiting for these tugs. It’s something I have been doing since when I first started college. I would do research and when I get stuck needing more relevant information or reference, I put everything away and spend a few minutes vividly visualizing myself with a stack of books and finishing my research and papers. Then I literally take myself to the library on campus and wait as often as I can. In the beginning I won’t feel anything, but the more obsessed I get over the topic of research, the quicker the tugs come. To help get the tugs coming I sometimes walk aimlessly up and down each isle in a state of obsession.

Then I’d pick up a tug… it’s like a gut feeling, but is a physical sensation in the heart area, as if the area were tightening up or swirling, and this “pulls” you or your Mind in certain directions. So I follow these tugs and pulls, and always – 100% of the time – I end up picking up a book – which usually seems to have nothing to do with my subject… but when I open it and read it, it always has some information that I needed or wanted. I buy all of my books using the same technique. I obsess over a subject for a time, and the tugs makes me drive around different cities to different books stores, and after a while I collect a pile of books all relevant to the subject.

Conclusion

I think this process of Wyrd and Pathei-Mathos together makes a Complete Way of Life. One which is not based on any dogma or doctrine, but on Life and direct Experience. I’ve had the direct experience of making this process of Wyrd work for me. I was originally taught this by a few mentors, a couple of whom were successful millionaires, who learned to make Life work for them thru their own discoveries, tests, and experimentations in life. I want to pass this art and science of Life to my own children someday as a Living Tradition, so that they will have the tools they need to make the best out of Life, and to manifest their full potential in Life. This is the real reason why I stick around the ONA. It offers a fresh medium, with which I can use and work with to pass what I have learned as a Living Tradition, in the same way that it has become DM’s medium which he impregnates with his own Pathei-Mathos – from which we all benefit.

In this sense, the ONA is a very unique system because it is based on the 40 year insights of a living person’s gradual unfoldment, and a culture of sharing insights from personal pathei-mathos in life can be seen being born in the ONA. Slowly the ONA becomes an Ordering of people of like Minds who share their personally insights with other Dreccian – thus creating a real culture and living tradition which has the potential to pass our collective wisdom obtained from direct experience of Life down across the generations.

This process of Wyrd is only one such experience of life. It’s a shame that more people who have experienced this process of thought coalescing into form and experience does not share their experiences with others. I hope that as Time passes, each Dreccian of the ONA will be open to sharing their personal experiences – as DM does – so that a Living Tradition can genuinely be born from which we all can benefit. If anything, it adds a new practical layer to what is already the Tree of Wyrd.

The more you put this process to trial in real life, the more it works, and the more you realize that there is more to Life than meets the eye, and the more you realize that your Thoughts Become Things. It’s as if Life… or the Cosmos reflects what you entertain in your Mind. Or as if there is a place somewhere “out there” where the Mind and Cosmos blurs in a sea of infinite potential, and what you fixate your mind on, becomes real. This must be directly experienced to be meaningful. Reading about it and believing or disbelieving in it will do nothing. Put it to the test.

Order of Nine Angles

The Abyss is where the causal and the acausal meet; a nexus of temporal and spatial dimensions. Because of the nature of our consciousness, the Abyss lies latent within all of us – that is, our consciousness consists of both causal and acausal aspects. In this sense, we are all ‘Gates’/to the acausal dimensions, although this Gate – and the pathways leading to/from it – often lies undiscovered. Magickal training is essentially the discovery, exploration and use of these pathways.

Symbolized causally, the Abyss lies between the spheres of the Sun and Mars in the Septenary Tree of Wyrd, and the ‘Entering the Abyss’ is that stage of magickal development which distinguishes the Master/Mistress from the Adept. The experience of the Abyss – which the Grade Ritual ‘Entering the Abyss’ begins – is fundamentally a destruction of the self-image which the Grade Ritual of Internal Adept created and which was glimpsed during the External Adept rite. It is also the destruction of all personal illusions regarding opposites: the final ‘withdrawing of projections’. In essence, the Internal Adept has learnt (mainly through the Grade Ritual) to withdraw the projections of the ‘ego’ from other individuals – that is, there is an understanding of individuals as those individuals are in essence: without the distortion of one’s own passions/ideas/prejudices and without the distortions of other people’s ideas/judgements and so on. The experience of the Abyss takes this a stage further – there is a withdrawal of all personal projections made by every individual upon others/ the ‘cosmos’ and so on: both personal and impersonal. Thus, the essence is apprehended behind the appearance which the causal produces because it is the causal. Put very simply, the Abyss is the beginning of acausal perception.

This perception implies a complete understanding of oneself, one’s wyrd, as well as an understanding of others, of aeonic influences, and of the ‘cosmos’ itself – the beginnings of wisdom…Yet this does not mean a negation of individuality. Rather, it is an enhancement of consciousness. This is so because the Abyss is also the Tree of Wyrd itself – all the spheres and the pathways in both their individual and aeonic forms: the ‘individual forms’ being Jungian-type archetypes (and the experiences/understanding appropriate to these) on a personal level, and the ‘aeonic forms’ being aeonic/cultural myths and images on a suprs-personal level, in both ’sinister’ and ‘light’ aspects. Further, the Abyss is also a direct opening or ‘Gate’ to the acausal dimensions.

The ritual of the Abyss implies an acceptance of acausal energies as those energies are – that is, without any ‘abstract’, personal or judgemental views. It is a letting ‘in’ of those Null, Chaotic energies without any hindrance. This of course can be dangerous, but the preparation reduces this danger as well as making possible an understanding of those energies and the ‘forms’ that may or may not assume in both the causal and acausal worlds. This latter point is quite important, because there have been many who, unprepared, having experienced some acausal energies via entering the Abyss too soon. Quite often, the result of this premature magickal experience is madness or extreme personal disorientation resulting in a ‘possessed’ personal life and/or loss of vitality; another and frequent result is personal delusion about one’s own abilities and understanding, both personal and magickal.

This understanding of the acausal, vital to a ’successful’ crossing of the Abyss, derives from the preparation implicit in

(a) having undertaken the Grade Ritual of Internal Adept [that is, in essence, having spent at least three months alone without any external influences and without any personal contact] and

(b) having fulfilled the tasks revealed by that Grade Ritual. This fulfilling of personal tasks (the accomplishment of part of the wyrd of the individual) is necessary (and it takes from one to many years after the Grade Ritual of Internal Adept) because it dissipates the energy of the ’self-image’ that the Grade Ritual produces, preparing thus a voidness within the Adept.

The Adept generally knows when this inner void is reached (in simple terms, the personal, driving energy is gone through achievement of personal goals: the reality, of course, is more complicated and here the advice of a Master/Mistress/Magus is often sought).

The ritual of the Abyss is simple. The physical part (the walk in the unspecified time without assistance) is essential preparation for the ‘magickal’ part because it prepares the consciousness in a very specific way as well as draining the physical resources of the body. To complete the walk given the conditions stated requires determination – and this determination is released/abandonment occuring quite naturally because the physical goal has been achieved. Thus, there is a ‘hidden’ wisdom in the construction of the rite (as there is in all the Grade Rituals).

The physical part also creates – because of the isolation – a feeling within the individual of being only a part of something more vast, and it for this reason that the walk is undertaken as far from human habitation as possible. This isolation, the concentration required to walk at a pace enabling the goal to be reached within the set time, the rhythym of walking, the anticipation of the magickal part, all combine to produce the conditions necessary within the consciousness of the individual conducive to success.

As mentioned above, the Abyss is also an opening into the acausal. The ‘passing of the Abyss’ is the opening of that ‘Gate’ within us. All magick is a glimpse of the acausal, and the stageswhen the acausal energies are developed and understood in a progressively more emphatic manner – that is, they may be seen as ‘pushing that Gate wider and wider’ – in the passing of the Abyss there is no longer a Gate, but rather a union or fusion. In another sense, the Seven-Fold Way may be said to be the creation, within the consciousness of the individual, of connections or pathways to the acausal – each stage develops more and more pathways until they form a conduit through which acausal energy ‘flows’. Beyond the Abyss, the individual is part of the acausal ‘flow’ and has achieved the goal of sentinent life. This is really the great secret of alchemy, of magick and of the Left Hand or Sinister Path itself – that is, we can create for ourselves another existence in another ‘universe’ and an existence which continues after our causal self dies. This means to this existence is simply – the Seven-Fold Way.

According to tradition, the Abyss is also presenced physically in our causal universe. That is, terrestrial and ‘Space’ or ‘Star’ Gates exist where the two universes are joined. In reality, the terrestrial Gates may be used to be points where the causal and acausal come close in contact: where there is ’seepage’ of acausal energy to alter the causal (and thus the individuals in the world). David Myatt (born 1950) – also known as David Wulstan Myatt[1] and formerly known asAbdul-Aziz ibn Myatt[2] – is the founder of The Numinous Way,[3][4] a former British Muslim, and a former neo-nazi.
"A British iconoclast who has lived a somewhat itinerant life and has undertaken an equally desultory intellectual quest, Myatt is emblematic of the modern syncretism of radical ideologies",[5] and regarded as an "example of the axis between right-wing extremists and Islamists".[4][6] He has been described as one of the more interesting figures on the British neo-Nazi scene since the 1970s.[7][8][9][10]
Before his conversion to Islam in 1998,[4][11][12] Myatt was the first leader of the British National Socialist Movement (NSM),[3][13] and was identified by the British newspaper, The Observer, as the "ideological heavyweight" behind Combat 18.[14]
At a 2003 UNESCO conference in Paris, which concerned the growth of anti-Semitism, it was stated that "David Myatt, the leading hardline Nazi intellectual in Britain since the 1960s [...] has converted to Islam, praises bin Laden and al Qaeda, calls the 9/11 attacks 'acts of heroism,' and urges the killing of Jews. Myatt, under the name Abdul Aziz Ibn Myatt supports suicide missions and urges young Muslims to take up Jihad. Observers warn that Myatt is a dangerous man..."[15] This view of Myatt as a radical Muslim, or Jihadi,[16] is supported by ProfessorRobert S. Wistrich, who writes that Myatt, when a Muslim, was a staunch advocate of "Jihad, suicide missions and killing Jews..." and also "an ardent defender of bin Laden".[17] One of Myatt's writings justifying suicide attacks was, for several years, on the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing) section of the Hamas website.[18]
Political scientist Professor George Michael writes that Myatt has "arguably done more than any other theorist to develop a synthesis of the extreme right and Islam".[19]
Myatt came to public attention in 1999, a year after his Islamic conversion, when a pamphlet he wrote many years earlier, A Practical Guide to Aryan Revolution, described as a "detailed step-by-step guide for terrorist insurrection",[20] was said to have inspired David Copeland, who left nailbombs in areas frequented by London's black, Asian, and gay communities.[21] Three people died and 129 were injured in the explosions, several of them losing limbs.
Since 2010 Myatt has written extensively about his rejection of both Islam[22] and his extremist past,[23][24][25] writing that: "What I [...] came to understand, via pathei-mathos, was the importance - the human necessity, the virtue - of love, and how love expresses or can express the numinous in the most sublime, the most human, way. Of how extremism (of whatever political or religious or ideological kind) places some abstraction, some ideation, some notion of duty to some ideation, before a personal love, before a knowing and an appreciation of the numinous."[26]
In addition to writing about Islam and National Socialism, Myatt has translated works by Sophocles,[27] Sappho,[28] Aeschylus,[27] andHomer,[29] and written several collections of poems.[30][31] He has also developed a mystical philosophy which he calls both The Numinous Way[32][33] and the Way of Pathei-Mathos,[34] and invented a three-dimensional board-game, the Star Game.[35]

Western Destiny (1964-1966) was a White racialist magazine published by Willis Carto's Noontide Press. Carto wrote for the magazine under the name E. L. Anderson.[1] In 1965 the editor was Roger Pearson author of Eugenics and Race.
The publication promoted the philosophy and ideology of Francis Parker Yockey and his work ImperiumWestern Destiny closed when Willis Carto gained controlled of the prestigious magazine The American Mercury in 1966.

Kerry Raymond Bolton (born 1956) is a far-rightconservative and social credit writer in New Zealand[1] who has been active in several organisations. He has written numerous publications focused around politics, ethnicity, metaphysics, religion, and the occult, particularly Freemasonry (his 2006 doctoral dissertation was From Knights Templar to New World Order: Occult Influences in History - an examination of theories), Christianity and Catholic social doctrine (Faith of Europe), among other topics.[2]Bolton has published and edited several newsletters such as The Nexus, Western Destiny, and Restoration. He founded the Order of the Left Hand Path (OLHP) in 1992,[2] following a quarrel with other members of the Temple of Set.[3][dubious ] The Order of the Left Hand Path was a study group based around the ideas of Nietzsche, Jung and Spengler, with some symbolic trappings.[2] Two years later it was renamed the Ordo Sinistra Vivendi ("Order of the Left Way"), and then the Order of Deorc Fyre under the direction of Thorsten Moar,[2] and in the same year created the Black Order.[2][4] It claimed to have a network of national lodges in six European countries plus Australia and the U.S.[2] It was intended to be an activist front promoting an "occult-fascist axis" by mobilising political groups and youth culture elements such as industrial music.[2] Bolton created and edited the Black Order newsletter, The Flaming Sword, and its successor,[discuss] The Nexus, a journal that focused largely on the politically heretical with special attention given to figures from neo-völkisch movements like Savitri Devi, Julius Evola, and Ezra Pound, and which especially catered to the 'Black heavy-metal' movement.[discuss] It later changed its name to Western Destiny.[2]
Bolton was a co-founder of the Nationalist Workers' Party,[2] and was briefly secretary for the New Zealand Fascist Union in 1997,[5] in which he promoted the 'patriotic socialism' of 1930s Labour hero John A. Lee.[6] In 2004 he was the secretary of the New Zealand National Front[7][8][9] and spokesman[discuss] for the New Right group.[10][11] He was also involved for several years with the New Zealand National Front during the late 1970s and in 2004.[12] However, Bolton soon resigned because of disputes with neo-Nazi and white supremacist factions.John McCrone, 'A Right Muddle', The Press, 5 December 2009
Bolton was educated at Hutt Valley Technical College, in Lower Hutt. Several years after college he obtained qualifications in psychology, and in 2006 and 2007 obtained doctorates in theology. He has been published in recent years in peer reviewed and professional journals and on the websites of academics including Alfred Vierling[13] and that of the Centre for Conservative Studies, Sociology Department, at Moscow State University.[14] He is closely associated with the peer reviewed journal Ab Aeterno ([1]), whose contributors have included Dr Dimitris Michalopoulos, Dr Tom Sunic, Prof. Alexander Dugin, et al. Bolton is a Fellow of the Academy of Social and Political Research. ([2]) Bolton's 2003 book Thinkers of the Right was described by Paul Gottfried as one of the best he's read on the inter-war Right.[15]
In 2008, a masters thesis written about Bolton published by the Waikato University was pulled from the library pending investigation after Bolton complained to the Vice-Chancellor.[1][16][17] The thesis, titled "Dreamers of the Dark: Kerry Bolton and the Order of the Left Hand Path; a Case-study of a Satanic/Neo Nazi Synthesis", dealt with the link between neo-Nazi and satanic beliefs in New Zealand.[1][17] It had been passed by the university, had been reviewed by senior academics from two other universities, and had received full class honors.[1][16] Professor Dov Bing, who supervised the thesis, called it a first-class piece of work.[1][16] Bolton claimed the thesis was "poorly researched" and was "a poorly contrived smear-document against a private individual, namely myself".[1][11] After threats from the Tertiary Education Union,[18] Vice Chancellor Crawford issued a one page letter stating that the thesis was sound because it had been externally examined by 'two well qualified academics'.[19]
In December 2009 Bolton filed a complaint with the Broadcasting Standards Authority concerning the Ideas program on Radio New Zealand, which featured Marxist poet and sociologist Scott Hamilton. Hamilton had stated that Bolton was an avid 'holocaust denier', had a 'close relationship' with the revisionist Adelaide Institute, insinuated himself into the anti-war movement where he made anti-Semitic and 'holocaust denial' statements, and exercised a bad political influence over 'unwary youth.' Bolton claimed that all of Hamilton's allegations were incorrect. The Broadcasting Standards Authority initially upheld Bolton's complaint on all grounds, and criticised Radio New Zealand for not having verified the accuracy of Hamilton's statements before airing the program,[20] but reversed this decision in December 2010 and declined to uphold any of Bolton's complaints. However, the BSA also declined to form an opinion on the allegations made by Scott Hamilton, and stated "for the record" the complaint would have been better made under the "fairness" clause.[21]
In December 2009 Bolton complained to the Press Council against a lengthy feature article run by The Press, Christchurch, 'A Right Muddle' by John McCrone. Bolton stated that the article wrongly implied that Bolton was a 'neo-Nazi Satanist', that he was associated with 'white power' and 'pseudo-fascist views', that he was involved with the National Front and was the founder of New Right New Zealand, among other matters. The Press Council in a ruling dated for release as 26 March 2010, upheld the complaint, determining that the article is 'inaccurate and biased'.[22]

 MAGIC AND MACHINES

As one begins to study the complex of ideas and concepts pertinent to the
interests of legitimate Satanism, one is always surprised and interested to
hear of the utilization of electro/mechanical means to influence the
atmosphere contained within the immediate area of the ritual chamber.
Ionization, ozonization, high-frequency resonance, and electro-magnetic
fields have all been used within the chambers of sorcerers through the use
of such devices as Van de Graaf generators, Tesla coils, synthesizers etc.

The introduction of these energies into the chamber environment serves a
dual, connected purpose. The first is to heighten the physical separation of
the ritual chamber from the outside world. Secondly, it is used to create a
cerebral separation within the participants who enter within the chamber's
immediate area of influence.

The most commonly known source of information regarding this very specific
type of Black Magic may be found in Anton Szandor LaVey's book, _The Satanic
Rituals_ [LaVey is also the author of the _Satanic Bible_]. In particular
the ritual entitled "Die Elektrischen Vorspiele" contains many of the
essential elements germane to this article. I highly recommend its reading.

In addition to the energies inherent in any high-voltage electrical field,
high-frequency tonal resonance, specific lighting designs, and the actual
chamber layout all contribute to the alienation which is desired in the
Black Magician's ritual environment. The Temple of Set has been conducting
research into these little-known areas of Black Magic for several years. Our
Work has been generally successful.

Recently a southern California company has begun to market machines which
utilize flashing lights and tonal frequencies to produce desired brain wave
states in humans for relaxation purposes. It is rather interesting to note
that turn-of-the-century German sorcerers were using these same general
techniques within their magical environments over 80 years ago! The Temple
of Set has continued to refine the tradition begun by our Black Brothers
nearly a century ago.

The specific theories which lie behind this very distinct and effective form
of Black Magic may be found within the archives of the Temple of Set. These
materials are not available to the general public.

2. THE LAW OF THE TRAPEZOID

Of central importance to Order of the Inverse Trapezoid (OIT) is the study
and cataloguing of the subjective/objective impressions and manifestations
which occur within an "angular" environment. By the term "angular" I am
specifically speaking of the ratios of both _pi_ and _phi_. These may come
in the form of physical planes, frequency ratios (resonant forms),measured
electrical field phenomena, and visual representations.

Why are these ratios important? Anton LaVey summed it up via his "Law of the
Trapezoid", which states: "All obtuse Angles are magically harmful to those
unaware of this property. The same angles are beneficial, stimulating, and
energizing to those who are magically sensitive to them."

By environment I mean the AREA OF INFLUENCE by which the various
representations of the angles (visual, audio, field phenomena) are able to act
within.

What exactly happens when an individual enters a angular environment? It is
very apparent that a polarity is produced within the individual. This is in
essence what the Law of the Trapezoid describes. Some are attracted to the
environment, and others are repelled. Along with attraction comes mental
imagery that tries to encompass infinite concepts. Those who are repelled go
to the opposite with imagery that has a profound morbid aspect connected to
it. Feelings of impending death on a individual and species-wide scale,
theirs is a finite image. These are generalizations; I have seen extremes
with both polarities. The bottom line is that there is an effect produced,
no one really understands the actual nature of the effect, nor its
boundaries. We will find out.

Most certainly each individual has felt the effects of an angular
environment. Many symbols incorporate angular features into their motif, and
most certainly we have all felt moved by particular music forms in a manner
falling into the above description of what happens in a angular environment.
Haunted house phenomena is most common in homes that have many angular
shapes both inside and out. Angles produce the "Command to Look"[cf. _The
Command to Look_ by William Mortensen], which then motivates into a polarity
which can be predictable. The ability to unlock the secret of the angles
will allow a more precise refining of its exhilarating - and thus inspiring
- properties is a goal that OIT has been working on with some degree of
success. We will continue to refine these findings to create a methodical
approach in creating these environments.

3. TONAL ANGULARITY: MUSICK THAT KILLS

Tonal Angularity (or TA for short) in its most easily understood conceptual
sense is the Command to Look applied within the construction of the
components which comprise a sound. This very precise refinement and
manipulation of the elements of sound have only become possible (outside a
sound lab) with the advent of synthesizers, and in particular with the
recent marketing of affordable midi digital synthesizers.

The Principle of Tonal Angularity is intimately tied to the Law of the
Trapezoid. The prime difference in the application of TA as opposed to other
forms of angularity is its method of transfer. Visual angularity is an
observable medium, while TA is abstract. The angles of TA are vibratory in
form and as such are dynamic in that they are in constant motion as one
encounters an area of their influence.

Other than mode of transmission, the underlying mathematical scheme is
precisely the same for all angular forms whether they be visual, field
phenomena, or audio. All are dependent upon equivalent mathematical ratios
to pi-phi and other mathematical formula which won't be discussed in this
introductory treatise. TA is essentially geometric measurement applied to
the creation of frequency ratios between multiple sine waves.

Some of the elements which can be manipulated in TA would be pitch, wave
form, harmonic structure, harmonic relationships, frequency modulation,
amplitude modulation, frequency ratio (very important), the envelope and
finally, volume.

Over the past two years OIT has created a number of musical compositions
based upon the TA concept. If you would like to personally participate in
experiments based upon these concepts, contact me stating your desire for
more information. If you would like to purchase a cassette tape featuring
two TA oriented compositions, the price is $7.50, with all funds going
directly into our research.

5. BINAURAL BEATS

In 1839 an independent German experimenter by the name of H.W.Dove
discovered a most unusual and fascinating audio phenomena which is called
today by the name of "Binaural beats". Binaural beats, as the name implies,
must have two independent sound sources which further must be isolated from
interacting with each other in any way (if they do, you get monaural beats
which do not possess the interesting aspects of binaural). In the 1830s this
could only be accomplished by using three rooms, sealing them, and having
the subject stay in the middle room with tubes running from his/her ears
into the left and right rooms. In the left and right rooms a tuning fork
would be activated, one tuning fork of a slightly different pitch than the
other. A lot of trouble, but it worked. Today we can use stereo separation
and a good set of stereo headphones to achieve the same results.

A binaural beat is produced when two separate sine waves of slightly
different resonant frequency are applied - in isolation - to one's ears.
What occurs is of interest. What you will hear will be a "beat" which will
represent the resonant difference between the two sine waves. For instance,
if you apply a 440 HZ signal to one ear, and a 434 HZ signal to the other,
the binaural beat will be 6 HZ - the frequency-difference between the two
sine waves. This can also be achieved monaurally, but there is a loss of
some very distinct characteristics which make binaural beats of so much
interest.

First, binaural beats when produced feel as if the source of the beat is
located within your head. You can feel the beat resonating physically inside
your head! They seem to come from an internal source rather than an external
one. The beats can be so potent as to make you feel a bit dizzy - similar to
the effects of a strong magnetic field. This unusual manifestation is
essentially considered an "illusion" by researchers for lack of any other
explanation. Since researchers cannot explain HOW a low frequency HZ signal
could have as its source the brain, they suggest that it doesn't really
exist at all! Because of this there has been very little active research
done with binaural beats other than to determine the bandwidth of
frequencies which makes them possible.

In an unpublished paper for the Temple of Set's Order of the Trapezoid, I
discussed in some technical detail that a combination of 2 or more sine
waves would produce new audio elements as their frequency ratios were
altered. The new element would not simply be the sum of sympathetic sine
waves but rather was interactive and something more than the sum of its
parts. Much along these same lines are binaural beats, though in my case
they were monaural.

Scientific evidence suggests that binaural beats are processed very
differently than normal sound waves. They have also found that the ability
to hear binaural beats is greatly diminished when one is ill. There are also
suggestions that hormonal levels in the bloodstream also effect the range
and ability to perceive the beats.

Another interesting facet of binaural beats is that they can be perceived
even when one of the signal lies up to a 100 times below the threshold of
hearing! Conversely with monaural beats, only the louder sound level will be
heard with no beats. Also, background noise will enhance one's ability to
hear binaural beats and actually make them easier to hear. With monaural
beats the background noise would drown them out, making them impossible to
hear.

Now that we know a little about binaural beats, the possibilities of their
use in producing Tonally Angular effects becomes readily apparent. In TA, we
know that a polarization of one's subjective impressions will occur within
its monaural area of influence. What of TA's effects when produced
binaurally? What if the effects are synchronized to brain wave frequencies?
Are the effects enhanced? diminished?

Binaural beats will greatly aid the wise Sorcerer who utilizes them in a
Form resonant environment. The exact nature of its viability is yet to be
discovered though we may postulate upon them.

6. LAKHOVSKY MULTI-WAVE OSCILLATOR

The MWO (multi wave oscillator) is a unique high voltage electronic device
which was invented by the late (1942) Russian scientist Lakhovsky prior to
the advent of WWII. The MWO utilizes a Tesla coil to supply its high voltage
electrical discharge and was touted in the 1930s as being a device capable
of curing nearly every major human ailment [sounds like a little snake oil
here]. The MWO uses two vortex-shaped secondary coils, one is called a
resonator [shades of HPL's _From Beyond_!], and the other is called a
radiator. To obtain the MWO's purported medicinal effects, the subject would
sit between the two secondaries and act as a receiver.

The purpose of this article is not to suggest the unauthorized medical use
of this device. There are other, more esoteric functions of which the device
has been purported to be capable, and it is these in which OIT has an
interest. The supposed medical uses of the device are mentioned for
historical information only on the MWO.

The MWO emits a bandwidth of radio frequency energy which ranges from the
audible spectrum up to and beyond the microwave frequencies. It is theorized
that with this multiple range of frequencies, every living cell in a
"receiving" subject can have its particular resonant frequency (cellular
resonance) activated into a higher state of biological activity. Though the
electrostatic energy from the MWO cannot enter living cells - it follows the
surface of the skin - the electro-magnetic field DOES penetrate and
stimulate an EMF within each cell.

The basis upon which Lakhovsky supported the operation of the MWO was that
all cells capable of reproduction contain within their nuclei filaments of
conductive material surrounded by insulating tissue. This filament
(suggested to be the RNA/DNA complex) is in the form of a spiral or helix -
in other words the shape of a coil. The implications of this shape is that
like ALL coil shaped forms it will react as a tuned circuit when its
particular resonant frequency is approximated by an external oscillating
coil.

Independent experimenter Robert Beck further postulated in the 1960s that by
exciting the nuclei with electro-magnetic energy, a "charge" is induced by
the long-established principle of electro-magnetic induction. This induction
demonstrably raises the energy level and perhaps vitality of every living
cell within the MWO's field of influence simultaneously. Because each cell
is individual and of differing physical dimensions, the exciting wavelengths
must be multiple and span a broad spectrum of frequencies. The electromotive
force produced by the MWO and induced within the cells nucleus raises the
cells metabolic rate through electrolysis and it is here that the beneficial
qualities of the MWO supposedly take place.

Very little experimentation has been done with the MWO due to its
unavailability in the United States. Most machines here had to be built from
scratch using the original patent designs (which expired in 1952). A new-age
electronics lab, Klark Kent Super Science in Dayton, Ohio, now offers an
updated version for sale for about $700.00.

Time Travel? Some of the more interesting theories concerning the MWO is
that if one stays in the oscillating field for extended lengths of time, the
vibratory rates of the cells will be accelerated to the point that the
subject will disappear into a time warp! No one's tried it. One independent
experimenter who stayed in the field for over an hour reported feeling faint
and had to get out before he lost consciousness! OIT intends to purchase a
MWO for independent study of its effects within Angular Environments, and
also to test the "time theory" which may develop into an aid for those
interested in Erotic Crystallization Inertia (ECI) studies.

FREEMASONRY CONNECTION WITH THE NEW WORLD ORDER
Freemasonry Teachings About God  Good Resources on Freemasonry  .the centuries since 1717, when Freemasonry as it now exists, was born, many authors have written against this society, alleging that Freemasonry is a counterfeit Christian organization. Some authors have even gone to the extreme of alleging that Freemasonry is of the Antichrist. Many other authors hotly defended Freemasonry, contending that it is Christian, and that it upholds the Holy Bible and its teachings.Who is true, and who is false?
Rather than relying upon the testimony of former Freemasonry members, we will go right to the source books themselves, published by Masonic Publishers. We will examine the writings of Freemasonry leaders like:
Albert Pike
Norman Frederick DeClifford
C.W. Leadbetter
Henry Cornelius Agrippa
T. Witton Davies
L.W. DeLaurence
Joseph Ennemoser
S.H. Goodwin
Kersey Graves
Albert G. Mackey
Sir Walter Scott
J.S.M. Ward
The Masonic Holy Bible, from the Dunton Lodge, No. 1017, F.&A.M., King James Version, A.J. Holman Co., Philadelphia, 1924.
We will compare the Masonic teachings from the above authors with what the Holy Bible teaches. God has repeatedly taught that we must weigh what someone is telling us against the clear teachings of the Bible. The Apostle John, writing under the direction of the Holy Spirit, warned us in 1 John 4:1, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

Therefore, we can let Freemasonry speak for itself, from its own writings, and test their teachings against the Holy Bible, to discover the truth once and for all.

This week, we will examine Freemasonry teachings about God; then, we shall contrast these teachings with Biblical doctrine.

"While all these faiths assert their claims to the exclusive possession of the Truth, Masonry inculcates its old doctrine, and no more: 'That God is One ...'" (Albert Pike, "Morals and Dogma" p. 576, Teachings of the 26 Degree).

"God in the view of Pythagoras, was One ..." (Albert Pike, "Morals and Dogma, p. 667 Teachings of the 27 Degree).

Freemasons constantly point out that no man can become a Mason unless he ascribes to the belief in God, or Supreme Being. Based upon this claim, Masons contend that their teachings are compatible with the Bible, or Christianity. Nothing could be further from the Truth!!

The Apostle James succinctly stated, in Chapter 2:19, "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe and tremble."

Now, let us apply James' statement to our current discussion about Freemasonry: "You, Freemason, believe that there is one God; you do well, but the devils also believe and tremble, so their faith in the One God does not save you." Why? Because the coming of Jesus Christ, and His establishment of His Second Covenant, changed everything. Now, a belief in One God, by itself, does not save you.

Jesus Christ dogmatically stated, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." (Matthew 28:18). In other words, God the Father has now given all power and authority to Jesus Christ, after His death and resurrection.

Then, Jesus also dogmatically asserted, "I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father but by Me."

THE litmus test for all persons on earth since Jesus was whether they correctly believed in the claims of Jesus Christ. The Bible states that Jesus is:

The Creator of the Universe and all that is in it (John 1:1-14)
Coequal with God the Father, and sitting at His right hand in glory (Matthew 22:44; 26:64; Mark 16:19; Luke 20:42-43; Acts 2:33-36; 5:31-32; Romans 8:34-39; Ephesians 1:20-22;
Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 1:1-14, quoting Psalm 2:7, where God the Father address His Son as God; 1 Peter 3:22) The New Testament of our Bible thus clearly and consistently states this Truth, that Jesus Christ is God, and that all authority has been given to Him, including the authority for Final Judgment.

. Messiah come in human flesh (John 1:14; Romans 8:3; 1 John 4:2-3 states that the test for the spirit of Antichrist is the doctrine that Jesus Christ is Messiah [Messiah denoting Divinity] come in the flesh of a man. Any person who refuses to believe this is the spirit of Antichrist. Freemasonry refuses to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Messiah come in the flesh as a man. Albert Pike, writing in Morals and Dogma, states that Jesus "put on the appearance of a human body and took the name of Christ in the Messiah, only to accommodate itself to the language of the Jews ... He suffered in appearance only ..." (Pages 567-568, teachings of the 26 Degree)

On Page 568, Pike denies specifically that Jesus is the Second Person of the Trinity, "He [Jesus] like all souls, was of the same substance with God, a manifestation of the Divinity, not forming a second person ..."

In all ways you want to count, Freemasonry doctrine satisfies the Bible's definition of the "Spirit of Antichrist". Therefore, we should not be surprised when other New World Order leaders, like Alice Bailey and Foster Bailey, boldly state that Freemasonry is one of the major forces which will produce the New Age Christ!

But, even when you limit your focus on God alone, Freemasonry has great trouble with the Biblical definition of God. The Bible clearly teaches that, while God is a Spirit, He is also a Person, containing personal attributes, such as love, hate, jealousy, desire to see justice done, just to name a few. But, Freemasonry teaches that God and Satan are equal and opposite, and are merely Forces. Listen to Albert Pike, page 102, "Morals and Dogma",

"The true name of Satan, the Kabalists say, is that of Yahveh reversed; for Satan is not a black god, but the negation of God. The Devil is personification of Atheism and Idolatry. For the initiates, this is not a Person, but a Force, created for good, but which may serve for evil." Pike again refers to the "Infinite God" as "the mighty cosmic force" on Page 707.

So there you have the Truth about Freemasonry teachings: God is a Force. Not a Person but a Force. Seeker of Truth, contemplate this very, very carefully, because, once again, we are given tremendous insight into the heart of Freemasonry. Turn in your Bible to Daniel 11:37-38, where God is telling Daniel some of the characteristics of the Antichrist, "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers ... nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour.."

The Antichrist shall honour the God of forces, not the Personal God of the Hebrew Bible, but a strange god, the God of forces. Again, Freemasonry fulfills another definition of Antichrist.

Well did Jesus speak of this world at the End of the Age, when He stated, repeatedly that unparalleled deception would be THE Hallmark Characteristic of this time. In Matthew 24, where Jesus is giving His disciples the many signs that would herald the End of the Age, He warned three times against unparalleled deception. He warned in verses 4, 11, and 24, concluding with the warning in verse 24, "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

Unparalleled deception. Freemasonry is but the most powerful of the organizations that are engaging in deception that is historically unparalleled. Do not be deceived any more. Do not be the type of person God described in Isaiah 30:10b-11, "Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceitful illusions. Get out of the true way ... cease holding up before us the Holy One of Israel". This is exactly what Freemasonry does; it holds up a different God to worship, a God that is a force only, and a force of love only. Masonry does not hold up the True Holy One of Israel; and, it does speak "smooth things, deceitful illusions", because it denies that God can ever get angry (Page 718, 28 Degree Teaching), which means that there is no judgment! How wonderful! Except that it simply is not true.

So, if Freemasonry does not teach the God of the Holy Bible, Who is the God of whom they speak so clearly and so often? After all, no man can become a Freemason unless he professes belief in a Supreme Being, Whom they call God?

The answer lies in fully understanding the following two statements by Albert Pike in his book, "Morals and Dogma". On Page 624, 28th Degree, Pike writes, "... Masonry is identical with the Ancient Mysteries ..." Ponder this for a moment: Masonry is identical with the Ancient Mysteries. Do you mean those Luciferian Mysteries from Ancient Egypt to Babylon to the Canaanites, Hitties, etc.? Those Mysteries? Yes, for as I read Freemason literature, I am reading teachings from all these Mysteries, as well as the Greeks, Phoenicians, Romans, Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists. Masonry embraces them all, because Masonry claims to teach the "universal truths" that undergird all these religions. In fact, Masonry claims that its religious truths existed before this world was created! Masonic author, Foster Bailey (husband of New Age guru, Alice A. Bailey) writes in his book, "The Spirit of Masonry", Because the star Sirius is older than the Earth, Masonry could have existed there long before our Earth Masonry began." (Page 145)

All the Ancient Mysteries believed in many gods and goddesses, a system of religion we

Polytheism. Each nation was conceived as having its own set of such gods, including a supreme god for that nation. When one nation in antiquity conquered another, the ancients viewed it as a triumph of one national god over another.

Likewise, Masonry views many gods. The God of the Bible, the God of the Jews, is seen as their national god, that is all; and, the Hebrew God had a negative counterpart, Satan, as we quoted above. This Hebrew God is seen as a particularly nasty God, for, whenever He had the upper hand, He ordered the wholesale slaughter of entire villages and nations, man, woman, child, and animal. Do not be deceived: Masonry sees the God of the Holy Bible as nothing more than the Hebrew national god. Pike quite clearly states this teaching, on Page 558, of "Morals and Dogma": "The mass of the Jews, they held, recognized not the angel, by whom, in all the Theophanies of the Old Testament, God revealed Himself; they knew not the Demiurge in his true relation to the hidden Supreme God, who never reveals Himself in the sensible world. They confounded the type and the archetype, the symbol and the idea. They rose no higher than the Demiurge; they took him to be the Supreme God Himself. But the spiritual men among them, on the contrary, clearly perceived or at least divined, the ideas veiled under Judaism; they rose beyond the Demiurge to a knowledge of the Supreme God, and are therefore properly His worshippers."

So, the poor Jews thought their God was the Supreme God, Who created all things; but the "spiritual" Freemason understands that the Supreme God of the Universe stands far away and above the poor Hebrew national God. And, this Supreme God is incapable of anger (Page 718), and is all loving (Page 717-718, 28th Degree). In fact, the Supreme God and Architect of the Universe seems to be the God Immanent of Hinduism, where He diffused Himself in all His creation, after He created. Thus, God is in all things, and in every human. We are all Divine, with some further along the Path of Enlightenment than others.

To finalize this study of God, let us go to one of Freemasonry's more controversial teachings about the God Whom they serve. Albert Pike states on Page 321, 26th Degree teaching, "Lucifer, the Light Bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness. Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the light, and with its splendors intolerable, blinds feeble, selfish Souls? Doubt it not!" Then, on Page 567, Pike again refers to Lucifer as "Angel of Light". Freemasons teach that Satan and Lucifer are not the same being. No, Satan is the evil God, the negation of Yahveh, while Lucifer is the good, wonderful "Light Bearer", the One Whom Freemasonry truly worships.

On July 14, 1889, Albert Pike issued instructions to the 23 Supreme [Masonic] Councils of the world, recorded by A.C. De La Rive in his book, "La Femme et l'Enfant dans la Franc-Maconnerie Universelle (Page 588), "That which we must say to the crowd is -'We worship a God, but it is the God that one adores without superstition'." (This is the God of the Bible)

"To you, Sovereign Grand Inspector's General, we say this, that you may repeat it to the Brethren of the 32nd, 31st, and 30th degrees -- the Masonic religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferic doctrine."

[This quote also featured in the following 2 sources:  1)  Gary Kah, "Enroute To Global Occupation, p. 114.  2)  Lady Queenborough, "Occult Theocrasy", p. 220-221, as quoted by author, A. Ralph Epperson, in his book, "Masonry: Conspiracy Against Humanity", p. 273-274.

Now, you are deceived no longer.

But, just to make sure that you are deceived no longer, allow Anton LaVey, High Priest of the Church of Satan, to have the last word. In his book, "The Satanic Rituals: Companion To 'The Satanic Bible'", LaVey says, "Satanic ritual is a blend of Gnostic, Cabbalistic, Hermetic, and Mason elements, incorporating nomenclature and vibratory words of power from virtually every mythos." (Page 21)

Then on Page 59, speaking of the infamous Satanic Rite called 'L'Air EPAIS', or "The Ceremony of the Stifling Air", in which a person finally and totally commits himself to Satan, LaVey writes about the Requirements for Performance:

"The chamber must either be black, or mirrored. A mirrored chamber provides greater confrontation for the celebrant, making him hyperconscious of his role. Mirrors also serve to 'rob the soul' according to old tradition. An austere chair is provided in which the celebrant sits during the first part of the ritual. The coffin may be of any type, although a traditional hexagonal style is recommended, as this is the type depicted in the actual sigil of the Sixth degree of the Templars and, combined with the skull and crossbones, is retained in Masonic symbology. The coffin must be large enough to accomodate two persons, hence special construction or modification is likely to be necessary.

The usual devices of Satanic ritual are all employed."

In this article, we have demonstrated the following facts about Freemasonry:

Their teachings about God are not consistent with Biblical teachings
Their teachings about many gods are precisely the same as the Luciferian Mysteries religions, all of which the Bible condemns, and whom God physically destroyed because they were practicing these religions.
Albert Pike teaches that Freemasons of the 30-32 Degrees are to be told that Lucifer is the one whom they serve. And, Pike speaks of Lucifer twice in his "Morals and Dogma", both times as the Angel of Light whom they serve.
Satanist Anton LaVey confirms that Satanic ritual and Masonic ritual are identical.
We have shown you two instances where the teachings of Freemasonry exactly fulfill the Biblical definition of the "forces of the Antichrist".
If this does not convince you that Freemasonry is Luciferian, nothing will. But, for eternity, you will know that you have been warned.

Stay with us next week, as we discuss more teachings from Albert Pike's "Morals and Dogma", the most heralded and respected of all Masonic books. We shall hear Freemasons "In Their Own Words".

If you have been blessed by this ministry, which seeks to educate and warn people, so that they can see the coming New World Order -- Kingdom of Antichrist -- in their daily news, then we need your support to stay on the Internet.

The sword is coming, and coming both quickly and with enormous power. But, most people, including most Christians, do not see it coming. Will you be a "Watchman On The Wall" with us? (Ezekiel 3:17-19, God's most solemn warning)

The first appearance of Aiwass was during the Three Days of the writing of Liber Legis. His first and only identification as such is in Chapter I: "Behold! it is revealed by Aiwass the minister of Hoor-paar-kraat" (AL I:7).[citation needed] Hoor-paar-kraat (Egyptian: Har-par-khered) is more commonly referred to by the Greek transliteration Harpocrates, meaning "Horus the Child", whom Crowley considered to be the central deity within the Thelemic cosmology (see: Aeon of Horus). However, Harpocrates also represents the Higher Self, the Holy Guardian Angel.[1]
Crowley described the encounter in detail in The Equinox of the Gods, saying:
The Voice of Aiwass came apparently from over my left shoulder, from the furthest corner of the room. It seemed to echo itself in my physical heart in a very strange manner, hard to describe. I have noticed a similar phenomenon when I have been waiting for a message fraught with great hope or dread. The voice was passionately poured, as if Aiwass were alert about the time- limit. [...] The voice was of deep timbre, musical and expressive, its tones solemn, voluptuous, tender, fierce or aught else as suited the moods of the message. Not bass --perhaps a rich tenor or baritone. The English was free of either native or foreign accent, perfectly pure of local or caste mannerisma, thus startling and even uncanny at first hearing. I had a strong impression that the speaker was actually in the corner where he seemed to be, in a body of "fine matter," transparent as a veil of gauze, or a cloud of incense-smoke. He seemed to be a tall, dark man in his thirties, well-knit, active and strong, with the face of a savage king, and eyes veiled lest their gaze should destroy what they saw. The dress was not Arab; it suggested Assyria or Persia, but very vaguely. I took little note of it, for to me at that time Aiwass and an "angel" such as I had often seen in visions, a being purely astral.[2]
In the later-written Liber 418, the voice of the 8th Aethyr says "my name is called Aiwass," and "in The Book of the Law did I write the secrets of truth that are like unto a star and a snake and a sword." Crowley says this later manifestation took the form of a pyramid of light.

BLACK METAL MUSIC with its transgressive attacks on Christianity, tolerance and democracy is proving an attractive front for fascist and Nazi propaganda among the young. Cacophonous crescendos and pagan lyrics serve to
make white power and blood mythos seem chic. But the bands and concerts
are only the public face of this nihilistic assault on civilized values. Still more
secret initiations are on offer to an alienated youth. Behind the violent bands
and their frenzied fans lurks an international network of small extremist
groups devoted to Nazi satanism, Nordic cosmology, magic and occultism. In
this shadowy underground, Nazi ideas come packaged in the strident tones
of Nietzsche and Ragnar Redbeard, freely mixed with the Black Mass and
Aleister Crowley’s magick. A core belief of this Nazi satanism concerns the
advent of a new elite of supermen who will sweep away the inferior masses
with their “slave religions and moralities” and so usher in a new aeon of planetary evolution.
The writings of the English magician Aleister Crowley offered many hints
of authoritarian and illiberal doctrine. In 1904 in Cairo, a spirit called Aiwass
had dictated to Crowley his holy writ, The Book of the Law. This revelation
proclaimed the new Aeon of Horus, an era of force, global wars and universal
bloodshed, which had superseded the old age with its moribund Christian religion. One phrase from the book became Crowley’s lifelong maxim and the
basis of his own religion of Thelema (will): “Do what thou wilt shall be the
whole of the law.” He later combined this Nietzschean imperative with notions of empowerment derived from yoga and tantric sex-magic, which he
first discovered in 1912 on joining the Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO), a fringe
Masonic organization in Germany. In 1920 Crowley founded an Abbey of
Thelema with a handful of disciples at Celafù in Sicily and later found supporters in Germany and the United States.1
Martha Künzel, one of Crowley’s
German devotees, believed that Hitler was following Crowley’s precepts and
became an enthusiastic Nazi. Crowley later flattered himself by noting parallels between the prophecies of The Book of the Lawand Hitler’s alleged utterances in Rauschning’s Hitler Speaks.
2
The English thriller-author Gerald
213Suster introduced these speculations to a younger generation of occultists.
Writing in the “Nazi Mysteries” genre, he interprets the two World Wars and
the authoritarian states of the twentieth century as the grim fulfillment of Aiwass’s new aeon.3
Contemporary satanism began when Anton Szandor LaVey (1930–1997)
officially founded the Church of Satan in San Francisco in April 1966. LaVey
first worked in the circus, carnival and burlesque houses as a lion tamer and
musician. Drawn to the macabre and dark side of life, he immersed himself
in the occult, including such topics as vampires, hauntings and the magic of
Aleister Crowley. In the late 1940s LaVey was already corresponding with Jack
Parsons, a Crowleyan lodge leader in Pasadena, and he frequented a branch of
the Church of Thelema (est. 1934) in Berkeley, California, in 1951. However,
he was chiefly influenced by Kenneth Anger (b. 1930), Parsons’s close associate, who enjoyed cult status in Hollywood for underground films such as Inauguration of the Pleasure Dome(1954), based on Crowley and his own visit
to the Abbey of Thelema at Celafù. In 1961 LaVey and Anger began hosting
regular parties in San Francisco for friends interested in magic and the supernatural. This “Magic Circle” was the precursor of the Church of Satan, a
rationalist cult of self-gratification, personal power and success. LaVey cultivated a Mephisto image with his shaven head and hooded black cape, while
his temple was decorated with the sign of the inverted pentagram and goat’s
head, skulls and black candles. The sensational nocturnal ceremonies attracted widespread interest in the novelty-seeking atmosphere of California
in the late 1960s.4
The sources of LaVey’s satanism were both traditional and modern. “The
Nine Satanic Statements” identify Satan as the principle of egoism, carnality,
and self-gratification, while “The Book of Satan” indicates the influence of
Social Darwinism, with quotes from Ragnar Redbeard’s Might Is Right.
5
LaVey’s main ritual imitated the Black Mass of seventeenth-century France
with its parody of Church liturgy and ceremonial involving a nude female
altar, black candles and polluted sacraments as a form of psychodrama intended to destroy any residual Christian piety or guilt. The alleged blasphemies of the Templars are glorified in “The Ceremony of Stifling Air.” Another ritual, “Das Tierdrama,” allegedly borrowed from the eighteenth-century anti-clerical Illuminati, celebrates the animal nature of man. An overall
debt to Crowleyan magic is attributable to Anger’s involvement. But LaVey
was also drawn to the evil aura of the Third Reich. The Church of Satan’s “Law
of the Trapezoid” was prefaced by the Nazi anthem “Germany Awake” written
by Dietrich Eckart. Alongside garbled references to the Vril, Thule and
Ahnenerbe, LaVey claims that “Die elektrischen Vorspiele” rituals were based
214 NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEONon the distorted angles of German expressionist film and performed in Nazi
Germany by the elite of the SS.6
Membership of the Church of Satan grew rapidly between 1967 and 1970
to about two thousand persons in groups or “grottos” around the United
States. In the early 1970s it was still one of the larger occult organizations in
the United States with a stable membership of around five hundred, which
could support a regular newsletter, The Cloven Hoof. But the cult was soon
rent by a number of defections by grotto leaders, who started small rival cults,
including the short-lived Ordo Templi Satanis and the Church of Satanic
Brotherhood. Another splinter was the Order of the Black Ram, founded in
Detroit by Douglas Robbins, another ex-leader from the Church of Satan.
This group cultivated close links with the fascist National Renaissance Party
of James Madole. Then in 1975 Michael A. Aquino (b. 1946), a major in the
U.S. Army Reserve and a Magister Templi of the main cult, led a major rebellion against Anton LaVey’s authority. Together with Lilith Sinclair, the New
York grotto leader, he carried a majority of the Church’s membership into his
new religious organization called the Temple of Set. Dedicated to Set, the ancient Egyptian deity believed to have provided the model for the Satan of
Christian belief, Aquino’s cult offered a more occult and intellectual form of
satanism than the theatrical posturing of the Church of Satan.
While LaVey simply saw Satan as a symbol of man’s egoism, Aquino believed in the objective reality of the devil. The theurgic rituals of the Temple
of Set invoked the Prince of Darkness as a sinister supernatural power. On 21
June 1975 Michael Aquino received a direct revelation from Satan, later published as The Book of Coming Forth by Night(1985). This revelation presented
the twentieth century as the beginning of a new satanic dispensation. Tribute
was paid to Aleister Crowley’s earlier prophecy of a new Age of Horus characterized by power politics and mass destruction. Aquino’s ritual practices included Crowleyan magic and the conjuring of intelligent evil entities. Impressed by the power and conquests of the Third Reich, Aquino also flirted
with the myth of Nazi occultism. While careful to reject anti-Semitism (many
Temple of Set members were Jewish), Aquino regarded Heinrich Himmler as
a satanic initiate. Inspired by the popular myth of the SS as a secret occult
order, Aquino imagined the Wewelsburg as a major terrestrial focus of evil
powers and conducted a satanic working there in 1981. Here at the black heart
of Himmler’s SS empire, Aquino claimed a higher initiation, later published
as The Wewelsburg Working (1982).7
These American experiments in exploiting the shock value of Nazism
have been superseded in the 1990s by Nazi satanic cults that combine paganism with praise for Hitler and the Third Reich. In Britain, the Order of
NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEON 215Nine Angles (ONA) was founded by David Myatt, onetime bodyguard of the
veteran British Nazi Colin Jordan and street activist in his British Movement
during the early 1970s. The ONA celebrated the dark, destructive side of life
through anti-Christian, elitist and Social Darwinist doctrines. The link with
neo-Nazism was implicit in Myatt’s extensive writings on the “religion and
spirituality of National-Socialism.” In France, Christian Bouchet combines an
interest in Aleister Crowley’s magic with the anti-Semitic and fascist ideas of
Francis Parker Yockey. In New Zealand, there are the Ordo Sinistra Vivendi
and the Black Order, which claims a worldwide membership and publishes
magazines such as The Heretic,The Flaming Sword andThe Nexus(now Western Destiny).
Common to all Nazi satanist groups is an utter contempt for the values of
Christianity and liberal society. The highest praise is reserved for the warrior
spirit, heroic courage and pride of pagan barbarian peoples, especially the
Teutonic and Celtic natives of Northern and Western Europe, prior to their
conversion to Christianity. Nietzsche is regarded as a prophet for his celebration of the Anti-Christ and denunciation of Christianity as a “religion of
slaves.” The supposedly weak, humble and guilt-ridden nature of Christian
morality is constantly held up to ridicule. Its secular heritage is held responsible for the prodigious growth of an inferior humanity composed of racial
inferiors and fearful weaklings who claim the protection of democracy and
liberalism against the fierce and powerful. Most of mankind is regarded as a
wasteful burden upon the planet. The Jews and Christians are regularly pilloried for promoting a pacifist, materialist, cosmopolitan society (the so-called
New World Order) in which a homogeneous and blinkered one-world citizenry obediently consume standardized products for the profit of the plutocracy. The erosion of all gender, racial, national and cultural differences is seen
as a grave threat to human evolution, which, it is claimed, can only progress
through struggle and war.
The chief representative of Nazi satanism in Britain is David William
Myatt, whose thought has been a major influence on this international cult.
Born in 1952, Myatt was brought up in East Africa and Singapore, where he
was fascinated by spirit-dancing and martial arts. In 1967 Myatt came to England to complete his secondary education, while his father returned to Africa.
The young Myatt made contact with a coven in Fenland the following summer and later joined secret groups in London practicing the magic of the
Golden Dawn and Aleister Crowley. Around this time the activities of Anton
LaVey and the Church of Satan became widely known. Yet Myatt remained
unimpressed by what he saw of ritual magic and occultism. He sought something altogether more exciting, dangerous and truly evil. At the same time, he
216 NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEONbegan to think of satanism as a means to create a new fearless individual, a
higher human type in a Nietzschean sense.8
In 1969 Myatt first encountered the British Movement (BM) started by
Colin Jordan the previous year. While on his way to a magical temple, Myatt
chanced upon a street fracas following a skinhead rally. Ever in search of adventure and tests of nerve, Myatt felt instinctively drawn by the comradeship
of these young fighters engaged in a struggle against superior numbers of leftwing protesters. He joined the movement and regularly attended BM rallies
and meetings, acting on occasion as Colin Jordan’s bodyguard. Myatt was impressed by Jordan’s writings on National Socialism and was also introduced
by Jordan to the writings of Savitri Devi, whose book,The Lightning and the
Sun, enthralled him with its eulogy of Nazi values.9
In his own mind, Nazism
and satanism were both representative of Nietzschean self-overcoming and
the creation of bold, fearsome warrior type: “To me, at that time, Adolf Hitler
and his movement seemed to embody some of the ideals I believed magick
should achieve—they seemed to represent a Satanic spirit, an urge to conquer, discover and extend . . . a zestful, life-enhancing character, a dynamism
and charisma.”10
After completing his school education in 1970, Myatt studied for a physics
degree at Hull University and later moved to Leeds, where he continued to
support the BM. In January 1974 he came to prominence on the far-right
scene here when he formed his own radical group, the National Democratic
Freedom Movement (NDFM), with his followers Joe Short and Eddie Morrison. Starting in October that year, the NDFM briefly published a monthly
bulletin, British News, under the subtitles “For Race and Nation” and “The
Newspaper of White Power.” Its propaganda was crudely racist and anti-Semitic, and NDFM members were involved in a series of violent attacks on colored people and left-wingers.11 During this time, Myatt wrote propaganda,
organized meetings and rallies, and regularly spoke in public, once even taking his message to Hyde Park Corner. Myatt was twice arrested in political
street fights and convicted for public-order offenses, receiving six-month
prison sentences on both occasions.12
Myatt’s activity on the far-right political fringe proceeded in tandem with
his deepening involvement with the black arts. In 1973 he met a woman who
led the ONA, a small satanist-wicca group whose tradition and practices
greatly excited his interest. The ONA claimed descent from a cult surrounding a dark, violent goddess who prevailed in Albion (England) as early as 4000
b.c. As a pagan nature-religion, its rites were related to the flow and ebb of
cosmic energies, the rising of certain stars in the spring and autumn, and ceremonies were performed at henges and stone circles. From these supposed
NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEON 217neolithic origins, the cult had declined with the advent of Christianity into a
clandestine folk way practiced and handed down by a handful of individuals
since medieval times, especially on the Welsh Marches, the place of its supposed prehistoric origin. The modern history of the ONA began in the 1960s
when this woman united three obscure neopagan temples called Camlad, The
Noctulians and Temple of the Sun as a new order.13
Following the cult leader’s emigration to Australia, Myatt took over the
order and threw himself into the task of codifying and extending its teachings
into a fully developed system of initiation and training for adeptship. His
early ONA rituals employed a satanic mass that invoked Adolf Hitler as a
noble savior as a form of “positive blasphemy.”14 Other ONA practices used
crystals and sound vibrations, known as Esoteric Chant, physical ordeals, the
undertaking of dangerous tasks or difficult occupations (Insight Roles) designed to develop personality and leadership. Ceremonies involved magical
acts based on the Tree of Wyrd, a septenary symbol of astrological and alchemical correspondences between the individual psyche and the natural
order. Between 1976 and the early 1990s, Myatt wrote more than ten ONA ritual books, including The Black Books of Satan,The Deofel Quartet,Naos,Hostia andHysteron Proteron. Beginning in 1988, the ONA also published a periodical, Fenrir, named after the wolf in Norse mythology.
Myatt rejects the quasi-religious organization and ceremonial antics of the
Church of Satan, the Temple of Set and other satanic groups. He believes that
traditional satanism goes far beyond the gratification of the pleasure-principle and involves the arduous achievement of self-mastery, self-overcoming in
a Nietzschean sense, and ultimately cosmic wisdom. His conception of satanism is practical, with an emphasis on individual growth into realms of
darkness and danger through practical acts of prowess, endurance and the
risk of life. Nature is regarded as a theater of chaotic amoral forces—both
light and dark—which drive evolutionary progress through conflict, struggle,
death and survival. The true satanist must therefore transcend his own limitations in the causal, physical world to make direct contact and identify with
this suprapersonal sphere of acausal, sinister forces in the cosmos. Access to
the acausal realm is provided through “nexions,” gates or angles on the Tree
of Wyrd, which provide the name of the order. These nexions are created by
evil acts and blasphemous rituals.
Myatt derives the word “evil” from the Gothic term “ubils,” meaning “going
beyond the due measure” for his teaching of self-overcoming.15 He asserts
that satanism requires the performance of acts that are generally regarded as
forbidden, illegal and evil if the initiate is to experience the amoral and
acausal realms of sinister forces. A prime example of this ONA teaching is the
218 NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEONpractice of human sacrifice as a form of initiation and rejection of human
morality. Myatt has written guidelines on the selection and testing of “opfers”
(victims) prior to their ritual execution. Such “human culling” is supposed to
heighten the satanist’s own contact with the dark acausal forces, because war,
killing and bloodshed are held to possess a powerful, sinister and evolutionary value. Although he claims that the chosen victims are already reviled by
society, his mention of Christians and journalists as potential candidates suggests otherwise. Human sacrifice is related to a prehistoric ONA tradition that
victims were offered to propitiate the goddess Baphomet at the time of the
spring equinox and the rising of the star Arcturus in the autumn.16 Myatt’s
defense of human sacrifice has led to acrimonious exchanges and condemnation by Aquino and others, who seek to make satanism socially acceptable.17
The ONA possesses a graded hierarchy designed by Myatt—the SevenFold Way—for the training of satanists. The Neophyte concentrates on private study of order literature and self-development. The Initiate takes a magical companion of the opposite sex and practices with the ONA system of
spheres and pathways on the Tree of Wyrd described in the ritual book Naos.
This system derives from the cabalistic Tree of Life, familiar to Myatt from
Golden Dawn ceremonial magic. The Star Game, a three-dimensional system
of occult correspondences, is used for the magical achievement of specific desires and aims. Challenging tests of physical stamina and endurance develop
determination and vitality. In the next grade of initiation, the External Adept
is expected to found his or her own magical group or temple and assume the
leadership role in order to develop authority over followers. Manipulation of
others, the charisma of power, sexual and material pleasure are experienced
through active practice. As an Internal Adept, the satanist studies and trains
in Esoteric Chant and practices an advanced form of the Star Game involving
its esoteric influence on history and politics over long periods (known as
Aeonics). The grade ritual of the Abyss involves a ritual retreat, living totally
alone in an isolated natural setting for three months with only basic food and
shelter. The three higher grades are Master of Temple/Mistress of Earth,
Magus/Magistra and Immortal.18
Compared to the eclectic nature of American satanism, many ideas and
rituals of the ONA recall a native tradition of wicca and paganism. The frequent reference to “wyrd,” the Anglo-Saxon term for destiny, indicates a native pre-Christian tradition, while the rhythm of the seasons is upheld by
holding ceremonies at the equinoxes, the rising of stars and other astronomical events. The burning of incense made from the twigs and leaves of
hazel, beech and other indigenous trees similarly suggests a rootedness in
English nature. An oral transmission is attributed to a few older individuals
NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEON 219in the rural community; the physical sites of prehistoric ceremonial activity, especially in Shropshire and Herefordshire, are specially sought out for
“black pilgrimages.” In his narrative accounts of “traditional satanism”
among rural populations in the nineteenth century and earlier, Myatt
evokes a world of witches, outlaw peasant sorcerers, orgies and blood sacrifices at lonely cottages in the woods and valleys of this area where he has
lived since the early 1980s.19
“Aeonics” is a form of ONA magic directly concerned with history and politics. Myatt’s ideas on this subject were inspired by his reading of Arnold
Toynbee,A Study of History (1933–61), which maintains that every higher civilization passes through an organic life cycle of growth, challenge, maturity
and decay. Adapting the scheme to his magical worldview, Myatt introduces
an “aeon” as the temporal manifestation of acausal energy expressed in the
particular archetypes, ethos and religious cult of each civilization. Following
Toynbee’s analysis, Myatt identifies a common periodicity in the major civilizations of Egypt, Sumeria, the Hellenic world, India, Japan, China and the
West. Each civilization lasts between 1,500 and 1,700 years. After about 800
years of growth, a civilization is subject to some form of challenge which initiates a Time of Troubles lasting on average 398 to 400 years. The final stage,
typified by a strong military and imperial regime, lasts for a further 390 years,
after which the civilization finally falls. The Universal State or Imperium of
the West, which Myatt associates with a Nazi revival, should commence in the
period 1990-2011 and last until 2390 A.D.20
This imperial future is jeopardized by the intrusion of a magical energy,
both foreign and hostile to the native archetypes of the Western aeon. Here
Myatt borrows the ideas of the “Magian soul” from Oswald Spengler and
Jewish “cultural distortion” from Francis Parker Yockey. Magian interference in a Faustian culture has led to an inversion of heroic, confident and
vigorous attitudes into feelings and ideas based on anxiety, guilt and deference to inferiors and competitors. Myatt claims that the “Nazarene/Magian” ethos produces Christian faith and dogma, moral and political abstractions rather than embracing action and real experience of the world.
This allegedly negative spirit has morbidly influenced Western civilization:
“From being a pioneering entity, imbued with elitist values and exalting the
way of the warrior (and thus enshrining a ‘master-morality’), it has become
essentially neurotic, inward-looking and obsessed.” “The dogma of racial
equality,” “the sham of democracy,” and “the myth of the holocaust,” together with humanism, communism and capitalism, he defines as Nazarene
(i.e., Christian) archetypes opposed to the fulfillment of Western destiny in
an Imperium.21
220 NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEONIn his prophecy of the Imperium,Vindex: The Destiny of the West(1984),
published by George Dietz’s Liberty Bell, Myatt follows Yockey in denouncing
the role of modern Jewry in Europe and America. Marxist communism and
Freudian psychoanalysis, the rise of the social sciences, the abstraction and
ugliness of modern art, atonal music and the counterculture of the 1960s have
two common factors: they all, directly or indirectly, contradict the Faustian,
assertive ethos of the West, and all are creations of Jews, “the last representatives of the decayed Magian soul.”22 Myatt asserts that “Aeonics” can oppose
this current. By using satanic ritual to channel acausal, sinister energy into the
political present, Myatt seeks to destroy Nazarene archetypes and values.
Christianity and Magian decadence will recede. The return to older and truly
Western values will witness the coming of Vindex, a Caesar-avenger figure
(also redolent of Savitri Devi’s Kalki), who will establish the Imperium. Beyond this age lies a new Galactic Aeon—a time of Promethean adventure involving space travel and interstellar colonization.23
According to Myatt, interwar fascist movements represented a bid by Left
Hand Path Adepts (i.e., black magicians) to disrupt Nazarene/Magian forms,
found a satanic empire and fulfill the wyrd of the West. “Seen in esoteric
terms, National-Socialist Germany was a practical expression of Satanic
spirit: led by [Hitler] who was able to utilize acausal energy and ‘earth’ it to
achieve political goals . . . NS Germany was a burst of Luciferian light—of zest
and power—in an otherwise Nazarene, pacified and boring world.”24 The
Third Reich was such an affront to Nazarene domination that it had to be
“uprooted from the psyche of the West” by inventing the guilt-laden myth of
the Holocaust. But Myatt argues that the period of Nazi rule has opened a
nexion for acausal, sinister influence; its archetypal energy has been stored
and awaits further use. Hence, the satanic rationale of Myatt’s fascination
with Hitler and early involvement with Jordan’s British Movement.
A neo-Nazi revolution is the catalyst for the Imperium and a new aeon.
Using Toynbee’s terms, Myatt identifies colored immigrants as a massive “barbarian horde” within the territories of Western civilization. However, he regards the skinheads as “internal barbarians” who resent the immigrant presence and form warrior bands and clans to fight for territory. These “young
Aryans” reject bourgeois-liberal morality and ways of living; the skinhead
clans have the potential to destroy what is decaying and diseased, and so usher
in a new beginning. For Myatt, the skinheads and Nazi metal bands are
“among the best of our race ...real warriors who ‘think with their blood.’”25
They are the heralds of Vindex and the approach of the western Imperium.
From the late 1970s onward, Myatt encouraged the growth of several ONA
temples around Britain from his caravan base in Norfolk. His own life sketch
NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEON 221describes a period as a tramp and violent interludes as a mercenary in a minor
African war, some involvement in Ulster and assignments as a contract killer.
Meanwhile, his spiritual search has embraced such diverse experiences as a
novice at a Benedictine monastery in Britain, studying the Koran in Egypt, exploring Taoism and martial arts and joining the Buddhist Society.26 He has
published slim booklets of poetry about life on the roads and his experiences
of love and war. The pagan, warrior ethos of ancient Greece also features in
his thinking, and he has made original translations of Homer, Sophocles and
Aeschylus. After marrying and settling in Church Stretton in Shropshire, he
attempted in 1983 to set up a rural commune within the framework of Colin
Jordan’s “Vanguard Project” for neo-Nazi utopias publicized in Gothic Ripples.
27 Given the highly secretive nature of the ONA, it is difficult to estimate
its numbers and influence. However, its cellular structure has encouraged
growth and attracted young leaders. In 1990 Myatt nominated one Christos
Beest as his successor, in order to devote himself more to active neo-Nazism.
It is possible that the ONA has provided a pool of recruits, especially among
the young and violent, for Myatt’s new political groupings.
David Myatt became active again on the neo-Nazi scene in the 1990s, associating himself with Combat 18 and the National Socialist Alliance on the
extremist wing of the British far right. In 1993 he commenced publishing the
Thormynd Press National-Socialist Series, which so far numbers fifteen tracts
devoted to such topics as the “nobility,” “wisdom,” “numinosity,” “enlightenment,”“religion” and “revolutionary holy war” of National Socialism. Hitler’s
“divine revelation,” “folk and fatherland,” a traditional life rooted in the soil
and nature all reflect the “honour, loyalty and duty” of National Socialism,
which he opposes to the life of isolated consumers in liberal, capitalist society.28 Besides this appeal to roots and an organic community, Myatt still
dreams of an authoritarian-military Imperium led by Vindex, to be followed
by the conquest and colonization of distant planets in other galaxies.29
In early 1995 Myatt began publishing The National-Socialist, a bimonthly
desktop periodical, proclaiming the struggle of all Aryan individuals against
their extinction beneath the tide of inferior races abetted by liberal race traitors. Here, Hitler worship, elitism and racial nationalism combine with an
apocalyptic call for armed revolution against what Myatt sees as a tyrannical,
anti-Aryan society based on consumerism, race mixing and multiculturalism.
The paper supported the National Socialist Alliance and its policy of creating
an “Aryan homeland” as a white racial enclave.30Addressing himself to skinheads and Blood and Honour bands, Myatt called for a racial holy war against
the Negro and Asian invaders of “our Aryan fatherlands.” All colored people
are regarded as an invasion force sanctioned by the Zionist Occupation Gov-
222 NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEONernment (ZOG), the term among the American racist right for the hated “system”: “We must fight the non-Aryan invaders who have settled in our lands.
We must fight the Aryan traitors in our midst who have betrayed our race. We
must fight those who fraternize with the invaders. We must fight anyone who
sides with the enemy, who enforces the tyrannical anti-Aryan laws of the
enemy.”31
In 1996 Myatt started a militant Nazi sect called the Reichsfolk. Based at
York in England, this national organization aimed to create a new Aryan elite,
“The Legion of Adolf Hitler,” and so prepare the way for a golden age in place
of “the disgusting, decadent present with its dishonourable values and dishonourable weak individuals.”32 Its warriors must be prepared to face imprisonment and death; they must make their home among their comrades in
barracks and on the battlefields. Another series of pamphlets is devoted to
“Aryan revolution,” covert tactics, weapons and vigilante action. Reichsfolk
publishes a desktop journal, Das Reich, named after the 2nd SS Division in
Nazi Germany and seeks to emulate the SS ethos: “the proud, healthy, racially
aware Aryan warrior.” Myatt inveighs against the global environmental crisis:
the majority of humanity is deemed “worthless” and a “parasitical infestation,” which is plundering and despoiling the planet; even nature itself and
evolution are in jeopardy. The superior Aryans must throw off the “diseases”
of Christianity, pacifism, liberalism and race-mixing socialism—all anti-evolutionary dogmas and contrary to the laws of nature—and become hard and
natural, thriving, prospering and expanding at the expense of inferiors. The
population of Britain must be reduced from 55 to 10 million while its white
surplus begins a new wave of Aryan world conquest.33
This sudden reemergence of David Myatt in the mid-1990s as the spiritual
rector of the far-right fringe in Britain was linked to its transformation into
a highly radicalized, militant underground. Frustrated by the electoral failure
of nationalist parties, censorship and arrest due to the ever-tightening application of race laws, many younger neo-Nazis deserted from the BNP. In June
1994 they formed the National Socialist Alliance (NSA), which included the
skinhead formation Combat 18 and its magazines Putsch, The Order and
Thor-Would; the Blood and Honour Nazi metal bands; the British National
Socialist Movement (BNSM) and its journals Sigrun and Europe Awake;
Myatt’s former National-Socialist Movement and Adrian Blundell’s White
Aryan Resistance. Taking its cue from The Turner Diaries and American farright terrorism, the NSA eschewed mass electoral strategies in favor of a violent revolutionary struggle against the ZOG “system.” The American idea of
a white racial enclave was also adopted with plans for an Aryan homeland
(East Saxon Kindred) around Chelmsford and Maldon in Essex, a scheme
NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEON 223also endorsed by Myatt.34 The sense of increasing marginality and the imprisonment of leaders have created an atmosphere of idealism, self-sacrifice
and apocalypse, which is sustained by Myatt’s “Aryan religion” and the
Manichaean battle against desperate odds.
The Order of the Jarls of Bælder (OJB) is another pagan-satanic movement on the British far right having an international membership. Founded
in September 1990 at Reading, Berkshire, by Stephen Bernard Cox, the OJB
combines magic and folkish nationalism in a pan-European fraternity of
knowledge, martial arts and physical adventure for young males. Inspired by
the growing assertion of regional identities in the European Union, the collapse of the Soviet Union and the reemergence of former nations in Eastern
Europe, the OJB encourages the varied traditions and “resurgence of the European tribes.” The membership declaration refers to the presencing of the
“Old Gods,” ancient lore and native ethos, Nietzschean self-overcoming and
the development of a warrior elite. Using terms already familiar in this subculture, the OJB claims it is training new leaders to achieve the “aeonic” destiny of Europe and the Imperium of the West, ultimately the emergence of
Homo Galactica. All “alien and messianic forms” (i.e., the Judeo-Christian
tradition) are dismissed in favor of acausal, sinister energies and the evolution
of the elitist Superman. The OJB symbol comprises a pattern of three interlacing triangles and the zodiacal sign for Gemini within a broken curvedarmed swastika.
Stephen Cox has developed courses in Teutonic, Celtic and Viking history
and culture, magic, runic paths, “Aryan Living” and grade rituals for the
order, but the principal attraction of Bælder for youth lies in its adventure initiatives. Cox intends these activities to foster a new male ethos to counter the
lack of competition and military ethos among the young in liberal society.
These include the European Youth Pioneers, a new pan-European scout
movement which revives the memory of Sir Robert Baden-Powell, the German Wandervögel and Bündische Jugend, with sports, woodcraft, tree lore,
folk dance and music, archery and stave fighting, signaling, orienteering,
camping and survivalism. A Spartan Sports League offers a range of sports
and body training techniques (Gymnos, Kouros, Runic Body Work) based on
Greek, Spartan and German bündisch models, with a strong emphasis on
male bonding and homoeroticism. The magical interest is evident in expeditions to remote sites, satanic rituals and shamanic “shape-shifting.” Embedded within Bælder is Fraternitas Loki (FL), a secret inner order concerned
with sinister forces and the Aeonic mission. As in the ONA, FL missions involve personal risk and danger and may even overlap with the violent activities of Combat 18.35
224 NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEONCox rails against the contemporary Western culture of blandness, conformity and political correctness; liberalism has created an aimless, rootless,
undisciplined youth. The absence of any positive direction for the innate dynamic energies of young males has led to football hooliganism, gang warfare,
street violence, drug rackets and crime waves.36With its pagan magic and emphasis on Aryan identity, coupled with Dartmoor camps and trials of skill and
strength, Bælder aims to give such youngsters a new collective purpose. The
new elite will thus develop a strong cadre loyalty, racial pride, physical hardiness and athletic prowess. The OJB also provides its members with correspondence courses and a reference library comprising over four thousand
sources in magic and occultism, paganism, mythology, and Nordic and
Greco-Roman culture. The library also acts as a deposit library for the rituals
of other Nazi-satanic orders, including the ONA, the Ordo Sinistra Vivendi
and the Black Order, and the homosexual Ordo Templi Baphemetis led by
James M. Martin. There is also a bimonthly double-issue magazine Bælder,
which contains order news such as solstice rituals at stone circles in Ireland,
articles on mythology and ancient sites, book reviews, library accessions and
details of courses, activities and scholarships.
Although much of Bælder’s cultural activity is concerned with pagan
magic and prehistory, Cox’s political interests are evident from his own publications. Freyr’s Oceanic Western Kingdom (1995) and The Aryan Arctic Atlantis (1995) offer a mystical reappraisal of the Nordic origins of the European peoples reminiscent of the Aryan-Atlantean novels of Edmund Kiss and
the speculations of Alfred Rosenberg. Another Cox title, Sleepwalkers versus
the Übermenschen (1996), outlines the aeonic cycles from heroic Atlantis
down to the present crisis of monotheism, materialism and liberalism. Regionalism, Green ideas and the New Age are related to racial folk memory and
the emergence of a new pagan elite for the healing of the planet and the future of Europe. The Occult Cycle of the Third Reich (1997) dismisses the “old
aeon” stereotypes that condemn fascism and instead presents the “Nazi Mysteries” as a “creative surge of folk archetype of immense innovation and vision”: the familiar topics include Vril power, Black Sun, UFOs, the “aeonic insights” of Hitler and Himmler, and Darré’s blood and soil ecology. The OJB
library contains many works on the Third Reich, Holocaust denial, most Reichsfolk publications and David Myatt’s outpourings on “the religion of National-Socialism.”37
Since 1990 the OJB has allegedly grown swiftly, with many hundreds of
members in Britain and Ireland, France, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Austria,
Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Italy. Members are also resident in
Canada, the United States, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. It is
NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEON 225noteworthy that there are also active lodges in Poland, Lithuania and elsewhere in Central and Eastern Europe (camps also offer teaching in English as
a foreign language). OJB members are drawn from among right-wing youth
groups and skinhead bands that have been successfully politicized. They include many metal musicians and editors of zines in their respective countries.
Mixing the colorful baits of magic and satanism with the attractions of physical sports and outdoor adventure, Cox has successfully promoted national
pride, folk tradition and Aryan racial awareness as an international project for
alienated youth.
France has also boasted an active Nazi-satanist-pagan scene. Vidar von
Herske, close associate of convicted arsonist and murderer Varg Víkernes, left
Norway for Metz, where he records for his band, Burzum, and publishes the
pagan Nazi journal Filosofem (1994–) with support from the Nordland Forlag of the Danish Nazi Party. The contributors include himself and Víkernes,
Hawk Helsson, Michael Moynihan, Kerry Bolton, Stephen Cox and David
Myatt on Aryan origins and Norse religion, the Viking ethos and the glories
of the Third Reich. In 1991 Christian Bouchet (b. 1955) founded Nouvelle Resistance, a revolutionary nationalist movement, and the European Liberation
Front, which revives the ideas of Francis Parker Yockey for a fascist continental bloc. He visited Savitri Devi earlier in India and now busily liaises with
Libyan nationalists and Mexican national revolutionaries while his magazine,
Lutte du Peuple, promotes the idea of an alliance between Third Way movements in Britain, Spain, Italy, Germany and Russia. He has issued editions of
the writings of Yockey, D’Annunzio, Thiriart, Blanqui, de Rivera, Drieu La
Rochelle and Brasillach. But Bouchet is also deeply involved in magic, fringe
Masonry and Gnosticism. Through reading Julius Evola he discovered Aleister Crowley and the Western Tantrism of the Ordo Templi Orientis. He publishes an esoteric journal Thelema, while his imprint carries titles by Aleister
Crowley, Jack Parsons, Frater Achad and Austin Osman Spare.38
A worldwide Nazi satanist network revolves around the activities of Kerry
Raymond Bolton, who operates from Wellington in New Zealand. A former
leader of the far-right Nationalist Workers’ Party committed to white supremacy and authoritarian rule, Bolton became frustrated by the electoral futility of fringe politics in the late 1980s. Attracted by the satanic-Nietzschean
synthesis of the ONA, he embraced the new Social Darwinism and started to
publish his occult-political zines, The Realist, The Watcher and The Heretic,
which has featured a Charles Manson interview, a eulogy of Yukio Mishima
and a review of satanic arson in Norway by Varg Víkernes. In 1992 Bolton
founded the Order of the Left Hand Path, which was renamed the Ordo Sinistra Vivendi (OSV) in 1994. Totally rejecting the “moral dualism” of the
226 NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEONWestern collective unconscious originating in “Zoroastrian-Judaeo-Christian
belief,” the OSV practices satanic rituals while advocating heresy and the sinister way to restore a balance between creation and destruction. Man is a carnal animal and the satanist must free himself from all dogma and assert the
instincts of his animal nature. LaVey, Crowley and Nietzsche are each praised
for their attack on Christianity and “all slave moralities, religions and ideologies which would level mankind down into an egalitarian, undifferentiated
herd.” National Socialism is celebrated as the collective realization of this
ethos.39
In January 1994 Bolton set up the Black Order, which claimed a global network of national “lodges” in Britain, France, Italy, Finland, Sweden, Germany,
the United States and Australia, dedicated to fostering National Socialism, fascism, satanism, paganism and “other aspects of the European Darkside.”
Bolton has proclaimed an international “occult-fascist axis” and identifies a
new cultural revolution among youth, coalescing around satanism, the New
Right and “industrial” music, with the latter providing the impetus and a
worldwide audience. He compares this new synthesis to the role of futurism
eighty years ago in preparing the ground for the emergence of Fascism, and
he pays tribute to Boyd Rice of NON, Michael Moynihan of Blood Axis (both
Church of Satan priests) and the Austrian musician-writer Kadmon as leaders of this avant garde. The Black Order is intended not merely as a study
group or publishing enterprise, but as an activist front to mobilize bands and
political groups to fulfill the “Wyrd of our Civilization and the post-Western
Aeon.” Its symbol is an Iwaz rune, the Yew Tree of Life and Death, surrounded
by the self-devouring world serpent. From Kadmon, Bolton has also adopted
the Wewelsburg Black Sun symbol for his Black Order, a telling example of the
rapid internationalization of this German neo-Nazi symbol.40
Through the pages of the Black Order quarterly membership bulletin The
Flaming Sword (1994–95) and its successor zine The Nexus(1995–), subtitled
the “Journal of the Kulturkampf, Realpolitik, Esoterrorism,” Bolton caters for
a full range of interests across the satanic-Nazi-metal movement. There are
in-depth interviews on the American scene with Charles Manson, James
Mason, Robert N. Taylor, George Eric Hawthorne and Michael Moynihan,
and also with David Myatt, Christos Beest, Kadmon, Christian Bouchet and
Miguel Serrano. Articles range from explorations of pagan Norse mythology,
the runes and the mysteries of Hela, Loki and Fenriswolf to studies of Thulianism, Himmler’s Wewelsburg and tributes to old SS leaders, William Dudley Pelley, James Madole, Céline, Marinetti and D’Annunzio. There is a complete reprint of the ONA Mass of Heresy, which includes a Nazi creed, and a
ritual invocation for the 1994 anniversary of the Munich putsch, complete
NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEON 227with Himmler portrait, skull, black candles, Iwaz rune banner and the
Wewelsburg Black Sun symbol. There are contributions from David Myatt on
the galactic empire, aeonic strategy and the cosmological magic of National
Socialism. Holocaust denial and Social Darwinism jostle with Indo-Aryan
mythology relating to Shiva, the “satanic” god of destruction and the reign of
casteless chandala (untouchables) at the end of the Manvantara.
Kerry Bolton denounces Christianity as a “slave religion” in contrast to Nietzschean elitism. He revels in the strength and solitude of the Superman
while pouring scorn on democracy and the “herd.” Some samples from his
text, “The Foundations of the Twenty-First Century,” are indicative of his
thought. In praise of the elite: “Humankind is as much a part of the foodchain as any other organism: better be the predator than the prey”; “the Superman’s instinct creates his morality”; “What is ‘good’ is whatever strengthens; what is ‘bad’ is whatever weakens”; “the Superman is not constrained by
the moralities and superstitions of the herd.” On democracy: “The common
religion of the inferiors is equality and the Welfare State: these give [them] an
unjustified sense of worth and an unearned sense of security”; “the ignorant
vote of the herd disenfranchises the informed vote of the few”; “the dominant
morality and religion of the west has a common basis: universal equality;
from this spring the dogmas of democracy and Socialism”; “the crusaders for
‘human rights’. . . toil to keep alive what would, and should, perish.” He calls
for a new age of epic heroism, new prophets and gods to match man’s Faustian destiny toward higher forms of evolution.41
More recently, Bolton has rediscovered the Nietzschean credentials of
Aleister Crowley. Bolton is impressed by the “aeonic model” of The Book of
the Law, together with its strident condemnations of Christianity, democracy and humanitarianism. Crowley’s Aeon of Horus is an age of “force and
fire” where the strong (who have realized their true will) shall rule over the
slaves (whose weakness causes self-enslavement). In 1996 Bolton founded
the Thelemic Society, not as another rival Crowleyan magical order, but as
a fascist vanguard group to assert Thelema as a “fighting creed.” Couched
in the familiar tones of apocalypse, the manifesto refers to global changes
and epochal upheavals: “It is now vital for Thelemites to declare our holy
war upon the vestiges of the Old Aeon; to clear the way for the New, the
Aeon of Force and Fire, of the Crowned and Conquering Child.” New publications in support of this Crowleyan fascism include Aleister Crowley and
the Conservative Revolution (1996) and The Warrior Mage(1996), a biographical sketch of General J. F. C. Fuller, member of the British Union of Fascists and Crowley’s onetime follower, both penned by Frater Scorpio, and
Thelema Invictus (1996) by Siatris. By invoking Crowley, Bolton emulates
228 NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEONLaVey, Anger and Aquino, each of whom regarded the English magician as
an important inspiration for Nietzschean satanism.
But Bolton also vigorously attacks the rampant individualism of selfish satanism as nothing more than an extension of Whig liberalism and unbridled
laissez-faire economics. The “Puritan-Jewish plutocracy” hankers after the
messianic vision of a “New World Order” in which their elites will preside
over the docile, obedient mass of humanity. These elites seek to undermine all
national, cultural and ethnic differences in order “to reduce humanity to a
mass of interchangeable economic units, produce-and-consume automatons,
in a World State.” Bolton regards capitalism as the negation of evolution, as it
levels mankind into one huge global consumer market undifferentiated by
gender, culture or race. He sees fascism and Nazism as the only genuine rebellion against these leveling forces of democracy, Marxism and plutocracy,
hamburgers and Coca-Cola. Their racial collectivism fulfills the biological
and cultural ascent of mankind in accordance with the Nietzschean and Faustian imperative. Bolton applauds the Russian nationalist Vladimir Zhirinovsky’s goal of a New European Order free from “Zionization” and “Americanization.” The Nazi satanist must deploy a sinister dialectic of crisis creation
to disrupt all messianic trends toward one-worldism.42
Through his imprints Realist Publications and Renaissance Press, Bolton
has published a variety of texts in furtherance of his “sinister dialectic.” The
list includes Dietrich Eckart: Hitler’s Occult Mentor(1995),Lovecraft’s Fascism
(1995) and Blood and Soil: A Heathen Manifesto (1996), all by Wulf Grimwald,
a former Grand Master of the Black Order, and calculated to appeal to a youth
readership interested in dark and sci-fi subjects. Bolton himself has written
books on James Madole, Marinetti and futurism, as well as his own antiChristian commentary on Nazism, Hitler, Christianity and the Third Reich
(1993). Bolton has also issued a new edition of Savitri Devi’s The Lightning
and the Sun, a study of Miguel Serrano and Esoteric Hitlerism, and acts as the
international distributor for David Myatt’s ONA and Thormynd Press’s National-Socialist series. Besides reprints from Oswald Mosley, Arnold Leese,
William Joyce and Francis Parker Yockey, there are Nazi and Black Order pendants, patches, banners, fascist music, and rune and Celtic ogham sets for sale.
The writings of Nietzsche and Ragnar Redbeard promote the new Social Darwinism and contempt for Christianity.
Bolton’s publishing enterprise is also important as a notice board and contact directory for the worldwide satanic-Nazi-metal scene. In each of The
Nexus issues he offers nutshell reviews of the skinhead, industrial metal and
Nazi fanzines. There are regular analyses ofResistance,Greystorm,Revolutionary Nationalist,The New Order,Power(Ernst Zündel),Gambanreidi Statement
NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEON 229(Odinist/NS),Rise,Ohm Clock, andWarcom Gazette(Gothic-industrial/Nietzschean/Darwinist/fascist) from North America. Satanic interests in the
United States are covered by The Order of the Evil Eye(Acheron), Devilcosm,
The Devil’s Advocate, The Scapegoat, The Black Flame and The Cloven Hoof
(these last two from the Church of Satan). The Nazi-satanist and industrial
music scene in France is represented by Filosofem and The Burning Ground
(NS/pagan/satanic),Napalm Rock (music/pagan/Third Way),Lutte du Peuple
(Bouchet’s Nouvelle Resistance) and Ravens Chats (pagan/satanist/industrial). Other European offerings include The Scorpion (Michael Walker),
Aorta and Ahnstern (Austrian industrial/blood mysticism),Trumpeter of Evil
(Dutch metal/satanist/NS), Sabbath Stone (Belgian occult/satanist), Mimer
(Sweden), Horde of Hagalaz and Sepulchral Noise (both Norwegian satanist
metal fanzines) and Revenge of Metal andGolden Dawn(NS/pagan both from
Greece). In Britain there are Compulsion (industrial music), Fenrir (ONA),
Bælder(OJB) and David Myatt’s N.S. Review,The National-Socialist and Das
Reich. From the Antipodes come Renewal (Odinist), Key of Alocer (satanic/
Nazi) and Suspire(Ordo Sinistra Vivendi). Both the OSV and the Black Order
had joined the Internet by November 1996.
Bolton has continued to publish The Nexus. Several numbers have been
devoted to such figures as Savitri Devi, Julius Evola and Ezra Pound. Following Bolton’s increased interest in Francis Parker Yockey as a “Third Way” theorist, the magazine has recognized the communist revolutionaries Mao-TseTung and Che Guevara as allies against the globalist capitalism of “American
plutocratic world hegemony.”43 Seeking left-wing and right-wing allies in his
battle against the “New World Order,” Bolton thereby underlines his affinity
with new “national socialist” or brown-red alliances in post-communist Russia and in such groups as Bouchet’s Nouvelle Resistance and Troy Southgate’s
National Revolutionary Faction in England.44 Bolton also celebrates Stalin as
a strong nationalist leader. Seeking to recruit Stalin for his roll of great authoritarian figures in the West, Bolton claims that Stalin destroyed the old
Bolshevik revolutionary elites as “Zionists” and “agents of international capitalism.”45 In his quest for rebels against the “New World Order,” Bolton
praises developing nations such as India and Malaysia for rejecting free-trade
policies in return for loans from the International Monetary Fund. Western
intervention in Kossovo is condemned as the attempt of the “New World
Order” to subdue a sovereign nation seeking to maintain its ethnic homogeneity against globalization and multiracialism.46
Bolton continues to publish The Nexus along the lines of this “Third Way”
alliance between collectivist and nationalist reaction to globalism, changing
the title to Western Destiny in 2000 to reflect his Yockeyan ideology. Mean-
230 NAZI SATANISM AND THE NEW AEONwhile, his Nazi satanic projects have passed to others. Harri Baynes, a young
follower in New Zealand, has taken over the OSV, while in 1997 the international Black Order was renamed the White Order of Thule, based in Richmond, Virginia. Originally led by Peter Georgacarakos and Michael L. Lujan,
the White Order of Thule (WOT) promotes Nietzschean notions of the Superman against Judeo-Christian religion, alongside the “sinister” or “darkside” aspects of the pagan northern soul. The magazine Crossing the Abyss emphasizes the Nietzschean project in its reference to man’s self-transcendence
in daring, risk and advanced forms of evolution: one cover illustration shows
a striking image of a hammer-wielding Nordic hero chiseling himself into
being from a rough block of undressed stone. There are articles on Savitri
Devi, Odin as a god of death and paganism as “an Aryan science.”47There are
numerous reviews and advertisements of Black Metal music. The art work is
typically Gothic and gloomy, with a preponderance of swords, skulls, ravens,
runes and Norse warriors. The WOT has since moved its operations to Deer
Park, Washington.
Nazi satanism is surely the most extreme example of the cultic revival of
fascism. Taking their cue from LaVey and Aquino, these neo-Nazi groups
combine satanic rituals and magical invocations with Hitler worship and Nazi
ideology. The Nazi satanist attack on Christianity, even more vehement than
its anti-Semitism, reiterates Nietzschean notions of the Superman and the Social Darwinist concern with power, conquest and the survival of the fittest
found in old National Socialist doctrine. Socially, however, these practices
represent the transgressive behavior of extremist sects that actively embrace
their own marginalization. Indeed, this self-conscious association of Nazism
with sacrilege is specifically intended by its devotees to highlight the very blasphemy of Nazism. When Nazi satanists perform their sinister rituals with Hitlerite references, they embrace a dark will to power and rehearse a murderous
intent toward their enemies. In this cultic milieu, the trappings of Hitler and
Satan both represent charged symbols for elitism combined with anger and
aggression toward the “New World Order,” capitalism, Christianity, democracy, other races and humanity in general (“the herd”). The swastika and
Third Reich imagery join black candles, skulls and magical pentagrams in a
tableau of ritualized transgression and exclusion from the rest of society.
